In other words, you can make equestrian overall cheaper by tieing in other academic programs with it. Thats how a lot of Powerhouse teams in EQ do it like Michigan State.

It would make sense from a schedualling perspective. But those schools are going to have to make quite a few serious roadtrips every year. One trip to Washington isn't going to hurt most of the current NCC teams, but what about CWU and WWU having to make the trips to North Dakota, South Dakota, Minneasota, and Nebraska every year? Thats hard on the budget. Not to mention that I don't think any of those GNAC schools are up to full number of rides. But then again, this all could be speculation. More likely to cultivate more of an association deal than anything perhaps.

Yeah, Clarett didn't get any special treatment. And it was about during that Orange Bowl when Rick Riley was crying how Clarett was getting screwed because he couldn't go back home for his friends funeral, despite the fact that he probably could have paid for the ticket himself. Exactly PCM. Every Senator and Representitive in Washington wants to at least bring back one big fat deal back to their state or district to get some of the govermental money back into the pockets of the people who voted him into office. So when they're back on their reelection campain, they can point to that project, show off how much it did for their community, how many jobs it created and how much money it pumped back into the local economy.
