Feisty one. Boltmann is listed at 6'2" on the roster. Neal lists himself as 6'2". One is likely as valid as the other.

So Neal at 6'2" 170# has size, but Boltmann at 6'2" 210# is just a bit on the smaller side. Your reasoning makes little to no sense, but I am glad you are optimistic about something for once.

I have no issue with the first couple runs on that possession, but once they had a first down near midfield with 24 seconds left and coming out of a timeout, they should've been taking shots downfield to score/set up a FG attempt. The risk/reward at that point was almost all reward.

It's probably because he hasn't blown the top off anything or made anyone miss.

True freshman at a position we're looking fairly strong at right now. I'd say it's a good thing he may be able to retain the redshirt.

If this was the mid-2000s, I could see using that strategy, but our defense isn't good enough to stop most teams for an entire half when they start pushing downfield in tempo.

So I like his highlight reel. I also remember liking Schuster's and Boltman's highlight reels. What are you seeing that makes Neal a "real QB?" Genuinely curious.
