The problem is Notre Dame doesn't restrict their logo to just the color blue. There is Notre Dame apparel with blue, green, gold, white, black, and even pink interlocking ND logos. Green Bay's logo always/almost always has the same colors and I don't think we want to use Grambling as an institution to aspire to in terms of marketing.

Doesn't appear to mention "UNIVERSITY" anywhere but it does have the interlocking ND. Again, they used the same big, ugly block lettering that they've been putting at center ice/court to spell out the words. What marketing genius came up with this for the yard signs? We need a new logo/mascot and soon. Right now, the signs look like they're for people who are proud to live in North Dakota and be Notre Dame fans. I was excited when I heard UND would finally have some yard signs, but now I'm just disappointed.....

Agreed. My comment was more towards why Fargo would be higher in this list and better for certain people. Fargo is probably going to have better scores than GF in cost of living, earning potential, brain gain, and entrepreneurial activity (all of which are factors in this list).

And thus, FCS becomes D2 again. The top teams of the lower FBS will attempt to move to the upper FBS with increasing success each passing year; the top teams of the FCS will attempt to move to the lower FBS with increasing success each year; the top teams of D2 will attempt to move to the FCS with increasing success each year; and eventually the teams in each division/subdivision who started out as average will look around at all the teams they're now surrounded by and an attempt to restructure will be made.

There are very few jobs in Grand Forks for people with college degrees. Outside of UND, Grand Forks consists of a (1) hospital and a bunch of retail stores and restaurants to cater to the Canadians. Those stores and restaurants are great for college students because it gives them a place to work/shop/hang out during college, but after graduation most people would prefer to make more than $4/hour plus tips. Fargo is larger and provides more employment opportunities for our alumni and, at least in my experience, most of the companies there prefer to hire UND grads (obligatory jab).
