  1. Is Faison near retirement? Looking to move on elsewhere?
  2. The new foul rules will make ndsu's lack of talent and quickness very apparent in this game......
  3. I thought the difference between beginning of season Bartels and end of season Bartels was quite good.
  4. Appears to be 30 days. Click the link, then select policies and procedures, and then "faculty recruitment procedures" http://und.edu/provost/
  5. Jon Gruden is still looking for work too, haha
  6. Well he does have family connections to UND
  7. Height? I don't feel like looking it up so just a guesstimate works.
  8. This is gfhockey, he doesn't know anything. Probably trying to imply a Hazelton meet and greet.
  9. Especially since the linebackers aren't doing very well in Chicago right now, although most of that can be attributed to injuries.
  10. Webb played last night? Could've fooled me..... Hooker looked good for a freshman. Excited to see him grow as a player over the next 4 years.
  11. http://und.edu/finance-operations/human-resources-payroll/careers/job-openings-external.cfm?category=2150+Athletics%2FCoaches
  12. After reading that, my eyes feel like I just got done watching an EWU football game in Cheney.
  13. The "Mrs. Mussman?" was meant as a joke at the time, but I can see how it came across as mean-spirited and for that I apologize. This thread is fueled by a desire to see UND performing well on the field. Now that a change is in the works, this thread has even more relevance for fans, as we get together and speculate on who the AD may be looking at. No, these conversations won't affect the AD's decision, but neither does anything else discussed on SiouxSports. It's simply a place for fans to communicate, cheer, and vent. I don't recall anyone making fun of the players, but I do recall some inappropriate remarks being made about Coach Mussman and that is regrettable (although most of the remarks were regarding his style on the sidelines and as the face of the football program, rather than his personal life). I don't believe most of the fans here are "bitter" towards Coach Mussman, we were simply disappointed with how the team was performing under his leadership. Faison relieved Coach Mussman of his duties for the same reasons most fans were calling for him to be fired, and it wasn't out of bitterness. I'm not sure why you're taking the firing so personally, but this was simply a business decision and a move to make the team better in the future.
  14. Pick your favorite bar/restaurant.
  15. Haven't spent many fall Saturdays in Fargo the past few years have you?
  16. Bitter? Look, I'm sure Coach Mussman is a nice guy, but things just weren't working out. He said he was angry with himself that he couldn't get things turned around, so I think he understands and accepts his dismissal better than you right now. Time to get over it and move on. IMO, this separation will probably be best for all involved, as it sounds like Coach Mussman's struggles at work were having a negative effect on his health and personal life too. He was a good OC and I'm sure he'll catch on somewhere.
  17. You're probably still at least partially right about the grad asst waiver statement. Ndsu's graduate STEM/research programs are full of "students" recruited from the Middle East and SE Asia. They should probably categorize those waivers as something other than "international" waivers in the future to save themselves a headache. It's strange that the self-declared STEM school doesn't produce STEM graduates capable of doing STEM graduate research work and they have to import their researchers from across the world at great cost to the ND taxpayer.
  18. Hammy is the Lakesbison of gopher hockey.
  19. Agreed. He's handling this about as well as one could wish for. Hopefully the players do the same in the coming months.
