Where are these guys coaching? It matters. But looking just at the records, coach a is safe, coach b was on the hot seat after going 14-21 but was able to recover and is safe, coach c is on the hot seat right now. For the record I'm not on the fire Hak bandwagon, although I don't blame anybody for criticizing him for his failures and style. I'm guessing there's a lesson to be learned from these coaches' records?

They said it's ALL being paid with private funds. So that's donors and/or sponsors and most of those are alums.

Alums are tied to $$ for the school, so some of them do have a fair amount of influence. Not to say non-alum donors can't have the same influence.
