I'm not going to judge entire conferences based on an inconsistent UND basketball team doing what they do (losing non-conference on the road). I realize you're a hockey-only fan for UND, but you sure are quick to defend the school to the south against everything..... NDSU got absolutely worked by the North Dakota team that got absolutely worked by the 6th place slummit team and the last place Big Sky team. EDIT: Also, nobody is saying the slummit is an especially bad conference (talent-wise), just that the Big Sky is more competitive and a better overall conference.

All WCHA teams not named Ferris (especially Mankato), Cornell, Colgate, New Hampshire, all B1G teams not named Minnesota or Wisconsin (especially Michigan), and obviously all NCHC teams not named North Dakota.

If by a decent amount, you mean 100-150, then yes. And yes they did used to bring more fans. They used to be fun to watch play too.

When was the last time UW was well represented in a conference hockey tournament? The year starts with 19xx, not 20xx. 95% of UW sports fans will be watching basketball this weekend.

Wow. Those rooms are way cheaper than they were with the Final 5 too. It will be only goopher fans in the Xcel building this weekend, as none of the other teams have fan bases that travel (if they have fan bases at all).

Losing to Miami, Anchorage, and Ohio St? They're the same team they've been the past 3 years, but this year the majority of their schedule was a cakewalk.

No kidding. If true, that needs to end. Now if someone is belligerent before even entering the arena then fine, stop them. But looking for any signs of pre-game drinking would've kept most of us out of the Ralph (new or old) in our college days.

The way UND lost to Cal Poly was embarrassing. I don't care what they did in their post-season tournament.

You need to remember that the games usually didn't sell out and empty seats count as goopher fans.....

That Boston trip was a nightmare.
