I guess I expect more from judges, particularly supreme court justices. A judge may feel emotions, but they should never lose control of them in a hearing.

Mine too, but neither of us are fit to be Supreme Court justices. A judge should be the smartest and calmest individual in a room with a bunch of politicians (criminals), regardless of the personal insults being thrown at them.

But he most definitely would not be the first lame duck president signing a bunch of executive orders to screw over the president-elect from the opposing party. He's also far from the first wealthy person/company to pay minimal/no income tax. Don't hate the player, hate the game.

Kavanaugh displayed he didn't have the proper temperament for the job and probably should've been pulled. ACB has written too many partisan articles. Gorsuch is solid though.

The Bloomberg camp has made their intent behind paying off the fines very clear, and it may come back to bite them.

In the world of Covid, absolutely. Hopefully the on-campus enrollment can see some prioritization and gains going forward so Grand Forks doesn't crumble and blow away.

If you're referring to the quarantine facility (motel) for homeless people along with a security contract, they're trying to ensure the homeless have a place to stay other than the homeless shelter if they test positive (so they don't cause spread within the shelter). The security is to ensure the homeless people don't have parties and trash the motel and was something the motel required. The security will not be holding anyone there against their will and the individuals quarantined there will be there voluntarily. If a "resident" leaves the motel, they will not be permitted back. There was some misinformation out there about the security existing to lock up homeless people in their rooms, which is not their purpose.
