OL, LB, and S are my question marks. For the first time in a long time, I'm not too worried about the CB spot. As long as Tyus Carter comes back 100%, whoever wins that spot opposite Harris will have truly earned it and be fully capable. Speaking of Tyus, I assume he's getting a medical redshirt for 2016?

I'm referring to the contact to the head and checking from behind penalties. If your head/neck is "bruised" to the point where you were laying on the ice for a period of time, you should undergo an evaluation. It's not punishment, it's player safety.

Players who lay on the ice and act hurt (or legitimately are hurt) should have to sit for a minimum 5 minutes of game time to undergo mandatory concussion testing.

Pretty sure UND requires on-campus students to have received the MMR (mumps, measles, rubella) vaccine. According to the CDC, the vaccine is only 88% effective in preventing mumps. https://www.cdc.gov/mumps/vaccination.html

Higher Ed saw huge funding increases during the oil boom. How they prioritized the use of that funding is on the campus presidents, not the legislature. Schafer did more long-term positive work for UND than the last 3 presidents combined. Giving teams the chance to raise funds to keep programs afloat was the worst decision Schafer made.

Schools with the name Legacy have nothing to do with the state's Legacy Fund. Although some in Higher Ed think the Legacy Fund should be used for Higher Ed, don't expect Higher Ed to ever get any money from it. Power figures in the legislature plan to save it and eventually use it for more tax relief.

It's so obvious what the best decision for UND and the state is, but I see no chance UND makes that decision.

It will be bad. Could see "war on women" bs all over social and traditional media. Huge mistake not to take a women's sport at the same time as baseball.

I'm not advocating for it, but we've had nothing but weak leadership on this issue.

S&D survive, but may lose a men's scholarship or 2. T&F will also lose a men's scholarship or 2. WIH gets trimmed by $250k, largely from coaching salaries and travel. One of either softball or soccer gets cut, to be joined by men's golf in a year.
