Apparently from what I hear Force games are pretty fun. They also have a really nice venue. They could very well continue to outdraw Bison basketball once the SHAC is done, but I think you will notice a noticable bump in attendance at NDSU games after that is done.

A 4-team playoff is hardly worthy of being called a playoff when you consider the teams being cut out of the picture. Looking like only four conferences will have an opportunity to win possibly. It would be great for them to have a full playoff. If/when that happens, I'm sure you will see the big FCS teams move up.

NDSU was much better than the 120th best team. I believe the Sagarin Ratings (considered to be extremely unbiased I believe) had us somewhere in the 30's, 40's or 50's, I don't remember. Some of the FBS teams are just downright terrible like any level of football.

May have been good enough to merit top 25 discussion by the end of the year similar to how if a MAC team was having a great year they will put them in the top 25. Nasty defense. Good enough offense. You never know I guess until you play them. Not win the Big 10. I would not have liked to watch what Alabama would have done to NDSU or most teams in FBS for that matter. Carry on.

I'm with Bison06 (go figure right?). When getting into a discussion about football with friends, UND friends of mine always bring up hockey titles, which is fine if they are discussing the sport of hockey with me, but when a football discussion is going on, it should stick to football. If discussing basketball, stick to basketball, etc. I don't imagine that Ohio State fans are very impressed with Michigan fans if/when the Michigan fans bring hockey titles into football discussions. EDIT: I'm sure plenty of NDSU people do the same, I probably do it too without even thinking about it too from time to time. If having a discussion about athletic success of both schools, well yeah, feel free to discuss success in all sports. Bison Dan is wrong about supporting all championships the same. I doubt your typical NDSU fan (not message board people, we are not typical) knows about the wrestling titles.

I wasn't ever spouting how UND can live with sanctions. The only thing me and Dave share are we both voted no. I heard from someone that in some polls it was looking more even in the west. I don't know if it, if true, was due to a smaller sample size or anything. I really don't know, like I said, just heard somewhere. And most women should be happy if their husbands don't abuse them and have mistresses, because after all, throughout history, most people have lived in a time when that is often times accepted practice. Sarcasm is hard to convey on the internet sometimes. siouxsports should adopt the accepted bisonville practice of using purple font. I am aware my vote counted and appreciated the opportunity to cast it. This is not sarcasm.

A possibility. Probable. As long as it isn't bad quality of teams I won't mind. I do really like the quality of the MVFC. Hopefully that never changes.

I enjoyed the games that I am able to remember(late 90's, early 2000's). The end was sometimes a bummer but I believe they were all competitive regardless of who won.

The MVFC would be the best option for NDSU, UND, USD, SDSU. But it isn't that simple. Others sports have to be accounted for.

Well the past couple years I haven't really heard it. Its dying. Do you think people that Texas are playing get mad when they sing their fight song that has references to being better than Texas A&M? You know, I hear this all the time from you guys. I don't know too many people that claim NDSU is "over" UND. Lakes and his sort of people, yeah. But your typical Bison fan is not going to claim anything other than we don't need to play a game. In that case, NDSU and UND are over one another, but the old habits die hard. What is wrong with a bunch of alums doing a chant for fun? I didn't hear it at the playoff games, you hear little groups do the "Here we go Bison, here we go! SIOUX SUCK!" from time to time, but that is getting phased out as well by the Lets Go Bison chant. That is fine that it doesn't happen at UND games. I am not aware of any fun anti-NDSU chants that UND ever had, I'm sure there are some but Bison is a harder word to work with in a chant.

Playoffs are other games. So yes, you are the one who said it. I didn't say people get excited for other regular season games more. I think it would be very hyped up and talked about being of the proximity and history the schools share. It wouldn't be hyped up for the quality of football UND has been playing thats for sure

I imagine NDSU is aware it would make more money. Maybe instead of claiming they are so stupid for "thinking people wouldn't pay more," you could accept it that they more than likely are aware a lot of places do it and that it makes more money. Maybe NDSU just doesn't feel it is fair to charge more for one game than another? Whatever the reason is, thats fine with me. Most people don't care. Don't claim that a UND game would be bigger than the playoffs. Dome in the playoffs last year was exceptional. hate to break it to you buddy, but last season some people started putting tents outside the dome the night before. That is more than 6 hours. I wait on average probably about 3-5 hours. Some wait more, some wait less. This game would be a unique situation, but it'd be hard to get more excited than for that Georgia Southern game. We do not play Montana State until 2014. I don't imagine we will start discussing that until next off-season. You still butthurt that Marcus Williams said Sioux Suck? You still butthurt that some NDSU fans yelled Sioux Suck as one of the chants they have done since they were in college? Quit crying. The only place you ever hear them in the student section. It is generally a group of about 25 people. I really don't know where you guys get this information that "OmG!!!! I have heard, no idea if its true, that the USD series was a result of Faison turning down a Taylor offer for a home-and-home for alternating years. Why do you care who NDSU is playing OOC? You know that a lot of teams in good conferences do what they can to get easy OOC games. Should NDSU schedule App St., Georgia Southern, and Montana every year? That will be really fun watching some solid NDSU teams finish 6-5 and miss the playoffs when in a normal schedule they'd have went 8-3.

Well in doing the math behind it, you are assuming that they are charging 200% of some of the seats normal value. If you are going to show the math that NDSU would gain money on it, it might be wise to assume they don't change their ticket-pricing model, because....to put it simply, they don't charge any more for a ticket to see UNI than they do to see Lafayette and I haven't heard that the policy is going to change. As a business decision, of course it makes sense(cents) for NDSU. I don't care if they do it or not, on the one hand, it would raise money. On the other hand, "keep it simple, stupid," and keep it very affordable for a family to go watch a game if they can get tickets. DaveK crediting NDSU?!? Next thing you know he is going to be voting "Yes" on Measure 4 and in turn, cause me to vote yes. Time to go get drunk. Hasn't it already been pointed out that NDSU doesn't increase ticket prices for specific games? So while it would be worth the price bump to a lot of people, that isn't what NDSU has done lately with prices and so you cannot say "NDSU would make all this money..." when you really mean, "If NDSU changes their ticket pricing system, they make a lot of money." Watch this post ignite several responses that are rude. facepalm.
