I would imagine according to the NCAA he isn't on UND's roster at this point in time. Well, there is where you are wrong. I haven't ripped UND's recruiting class because I don't pay attention to most recruiting things unless Iread about them in the paper. I wouldn't call it a new low. I watched helplessly as NDSU endured a 3-8 season. Right now, NDSU is on a roll.

NDSU is not desperate I imagine. I presume NDSU saw the guy had potential and showed it in some All-Star game, correct? He wasn't signed to anything. Threw an offer out. Worth a try if they wanted him. Nothing wrong with doing that. If it isn't against any NCAA rules that is.

football fans aren't quite like hockey fans when it comes to the addiction to jerseys from what I have gathered. I do see more jerseys at Bison games than I used to, but it seems like everyone at hockey games wears them. All my UND friends have a hockey jersey too. Its like its a right of passage up there. Companies might not think there is enough demand right now I guess too.

Montana opens their road games at App State. They know a tough venue. They also played at Tennessee last season. If they are prepared for some solid noise, they will be just fine.

Or they just assumed since SUU is incapable of beating Dakota schools since they went "Oh fer" last season in 3 games.

A team better at every position than the National Champs who return a load of starters wouldn't have struggled with bad teams like UNC, Sioux Falls, etc. And wouldn't have gotten embarassed by Idaho. I understand that a year can make a big difference, (see 3-8 to 9-5 for 'SU), but thats a very, very bold claim. I'll just assume you were joking about the better at every position except CB and safety. I imagine you think UND will go 10-1 this year as well? Maybe 11-0 and walk through to the national championship? Because a team better at every position other than a couple than NDSU will more than likely walk right through everyone.

Up until the last 5-10 years. The Cleveland Browns had more victories in the rivalry with the Steelers. In that time, the Steelers had won 5 Super Bowls. When asked who was the superior team, I doubt many folks would say the Cleveland Browns. They just happened to have won more of the games. I see your point as well however.

I can talk about the UND/NDSU stuff all day, won't deflect conversation. Just point out that some stats are misleading. Upon looking at the number of titles, one would assume NDSU has beaten UND more....but thats not true. Looking at the number of games won by UND, you'd imagine they have more conference titles. Not true. Bison06, the last one sure hurt. Hopefully the next one doesn't.

I kinda got it working now. I think it seems weird then that everyone in the top 10 is seniors. I think this is senior exclusive. Or just a senior dominated year.

I could see that then. So many people leave early now that the elite ones rarely finish their eligibility it seems like.

I was unable to open the site(at work). Does it have him at 28 out of 122 seniors or 28 out of 122 overall. Some of those rankings don't count the incoming juniors.

It pointed to the ultimate goal that any team sets out on a season with. And that while UND has been more successful in the games against SU, NDSU has done an exceptionally good job winning championships while UND...hasn't.

I also made a factual statement. It pointed out UND's lack of relative success in the playoffs however Rocky is entitled to his opinion. I simply pointed out which school has won more National Championships.

Didn't try to change the subject. Just said "9>1" as his statement was geared to throw a bit of a good natured insult NDSU's way, I threw one back. If a Minnesota Gopher fan game on here, I imagine if he pointed out they win more vs. UND, there would be plenty of people on here more than happy to point out UND's better success in the post-season.

9>1. I guess some schools base their success on games against one school while some just base their success on if they win the whole prize that year? If I recall, doesn't Minnesota have a commanding lead in hockey victories between the two schools yet I see a lot of UND fans say "7>5" It is always brought up when the two schools football teams are brought up. Trophy won't get used anymore probably, real sad deal.
