I can't fault them for that, when we lost to denver in 2004 1-0 I sat in the basement in disbelief as the Sioux had just lost, I think I just sat there and stared at the tv for like an hour. Finally my wife came down and asked me if I was going to be sociable. So I can't fault a person for being shocked about a hockey game.

I couldn't think of any other way I would love to see the Goofers get bounced out of the playoffs, other than UND beating them in the Frozen Four. Priceless.

Thud, that sound you hear is the Gophers leaving the NCAA tourney. Who would have thought. But as someone mentioned its better UND got to play a tough oppenent to start to the tourney off and get pumped up. .

Good point, thats why I cheer for one team. The UND Fighting Sioux. If our teams isn't there I just watch the games.

Now that was laid out pretty well PCM. I am just glad the Sioux are moving on and the Gophers well they went back to MPLS with their tails between their legs.

I would think one would have to be pretty sharp to graduate early and accelerate their schooling. But it sounds like the kids that went to Shattacks actually have to spend a lot of time studying because the school is pretty hard. So I suppose it was nothin for a bright kid like Toews. If you listen to this kid talk he definately is very well spoken and polished already at such a young age.

Its hard to score when you have your stick and armed wrapped around the oppostion. Talk about a big slow team.

I have to admit I was a little bit choked up when UND won the game last night. My first Regional and maybe the last one at the Ralph. I think the NCAA is going to have to just eat their ridiculous stand on abusive and hostile nick names, we set an attendence record this past weekend and you can bet they made the NCAA money. What an awesome weekend of hockey.

I think In am going to nominate Sprig for the NCAA hockey committe head. Sounds like a good rule to add right now.

This game could go on all night. Sounds like Elliot is playing good again. I have watched the game for the last two periods and I think UND could make mince meat out of both of these teams with their speed.

Oh man I sat in section 307 and they had a whinny Gopher fan and his buddies that was sparing with an older woman because she was cheering for Holy Cross. I couldn't believe it. It got quieter as the game went on/progress to over time and then the immaculate goal went in it was fun watching a bunch of cocky/arrogant Gopher fans head for the exits or just sit there with their heads in their hands sitting there in shock and disbelief as their highly favored team got flushed down the toilet.
