The Sioux didn't skate very well tonight, I am not sure how bad Stafford's injury is but he did take the opening face off in the second period. I think UND can still win with both Stafford and Fabian out of the line up, the guys in the line up just need to skate and move their feet. I am going to have to watch the game tomorrow from home with my dog Dakota. Dakota's winning percentage is like .750 when he watches a game with me. Although it didn't help the second game against Devner two weeks ago.

Gee, I think we can make this list a little shorter, who the heck wants to play for Quinnipiac, the only thing they are know for is liberal studies and surveys/polls. Just because they are now in the EZAC doesn't mean they are going to be any better or make them any more attractive. So lets rule them out, I am sure that Wisconsin is going to be hot on his tail, and I am sure Minnesota would want nothing more than to pick up another top pick from Wisconsin. So I suppose that it will be us with the other two schools bidding for his services.

I think that sucks for bucks, I suppose he will get to play a regular shift and its an up grade for the Black Hawks.

No offense but no one cheated off my spelling papers. Actually it was one of those classes I just didn't like very much. I still to this day don't know how in the he!! spelling bees are considered sports and warrant ESPN covering them.

I hope they send the Goofs out east and let them taste a little of what the Sioux got last year. Let them have a semi quassi bean pot like UND faced.

He used to cheat of my science papers in 8th grade. In other words I had the pleasure of being in the same class with him in Intl Falls and he was a good athlete in Football, Baseball and Hockey in High school. I never say him play as a UND goalie except on television.

Stafford leads the nation in short handed goals with 6, that is a pretty impressive stat since the record in the NHL is like 9 in a 82 game season I believe set by Bryan Roslton. Now I am not comparing college hockey to the NHL but 6 is impressive in a 20+ goal total in 36 games.

I think these three players are the keys to sucess of the Fighting in the future in my opinion. We kind of have idea what Oshie, Toews can do they are both amazing players with unbelieveable talent and skill, however, the other three frosh have done pretty good too in my opinion. Kosek has an amazing snap shot and I believe he has the potential to score twenty goals, he has really impressed me even as a fourth line player. I got to see his shot fist hand in the third period of Saturdays game. Teslik was lucky to see it because it was screaming. Duncan is an older Freshman and is pretty shifty, awesome player with a knack for the puck. Watkins, although he hasn't been as impressive as the other four is going to be good player. I am just hoping he is as good as the Ulmer boys were, has the abilities and will probably be a great player in the years to come.

I have to agree, I haven't missed a Final Five since like 1999 and they are a lot of fun. I still think beating Wisconsin in 2000 was the highlight of them all. I never seen so many shocked Wisconsin fans after they lost to the Sioux.

Fetch from one lab owner to another I think your right. This past weekend I watched the Friday night game and Kessel was invisible and hardly stuck out. Actually the Goofer fourth line was the line that ws scoring some goals and making plays.

I think it is funny that Goofer fans are getting upset because the opposition doesn't give him the props. I feel that Oshie is just as good as Kessel, big deal. I think Kessel is a primma donna.

The NCAA wants to have regionals at places that are neutral. I think some out east are tired of getting clobbered in the East. Cornell is the first school that comes to mind. Their coach made a complete @$$ out of himself whinning about playing in Minny.

That is why it was fun watching UND dismantle the Gophers in the X last spring.

It beginning to sound like Cornell all over again, or Woog in 1997. Getting to the NCAA Frozen Four shouldn't be easy. That would be awesome for UND to play Cornell beat them and then take out the Goofers in the championship game.

Great Post, I think Oshie is just as good as Kessel. Oshie also has scored more points, but Kessel was annointed the chosen one at the begining of the season so they aren't going to change their mind now. I think Oshie means more to his team than Kessel. Also, in the Friday game against UMD I thought Phil was invisible.

It will be interesting to see who gets inserted into the fourth line?
