According to a post on the Hockey_L there was some guy out there that said that Elliot was staying for his fourth years, but after watching Morrison play for the Sens last night, that might be a pipe dream. With Hasek retiring and Morrison not looking all of that sharp and Emery being an ok number one I could see him gone next season.

I am sure we will see quite a few line combos. I would imagine that Miller, Martens, Genoway and Vandeveld will have something to say about this also. Should be a full lockerrooms as well as good team. I also don't expect Bina to play every game. Its going to be fun watching these guys try to stay in a very competative line up.

I think Kozek and Watkins are going to be the diamonds in the rough from this season's recruiting track. Kozek can really shot the puck and has a wrist shot that is amazing. I think he will make a bigger contribution next season. Is it October yet?

Sica is right most of us don't make $80,000 living in Grand Forks probably will with inflation and 15 plus years more of work, if you are I want to know what your career path is. I would bet it's Lawyer private practice, You work for EERC, your a Dr and it is your salary for the first three months of the year, or you are a senior exec of the Federal Government with 20+ years of work. I don't fault these kids for taking the money. I not so sure any of us can fault them for pursuing their dream is the playing in the NHL. Granted most of them don't even come close to making it. But think of it this way if you were sitting at home not making a lot of money and someone offered you a signing bonus of 200,000-450,000 and a yearly salary of about 80,000 with the possibility of making more if you make a certain level most of us would take it even if it meant moving to another city.

Respectfully I must disagree with your logic DAR. First off your assuming now that since we will lose these players UND is going to be very good next season and the cupboard is bare. I think this is hardly the case, especially with this team. Even with what we will lose, we will be gaining some amazing players and having some amazing players returning I think UND is going to be just as strong and if not better. I think with what will be left will still be better than probably 97% of the teams.

They are going to lose their fair number of players too. They wont' go unscathed. That fact remains that UND is going to be better than Wisconsin next season.

Commodore came to the aid of a team mate and was given a thirdman in penatly, Mike was asked if he knew about the rule and he wasn't aware that you could get a third man in penatly if a major penalty wasn't called. The broadcast team was also not aware of this rule either, incidently Mike was given a game misconduct penatly and his night was over.

You know what I could care less about the hobey I would love to see th NCAA title return to North Dakota. Individual awards are great but I like team awards. The Broadmoor was a good start.
