More on Zajac, seems there are a few that think the NJ Devils should sign Travis. I am not sure why the people in NJ and various Devils fans are in such a hurry to get Travis signed, the kid isn't going to be playing in the NHL right away. It's a pipe dream by some. IMHO Lou on signing or not signing Zajac

No problem. I just hope we can make it through the summer without losing too many players.

Gilbert's rights are owned by Colorado picked in the 4th round of the 2002 draft.
-
I think that is the first time I have ever seen that move.

At this time of year I don't expect too much from the announcers since they do a majority of their work with the NHL and I think it is a case of them not spending too much time researching the teams out west. It was apparent during the broadcast that the ESPN2 crew was pretty pro B.C. no big shock there either. I am sure they will be getting to know the UND pretty well in the upcoming seasons.

Sr defenseman Andy Greene of Miami just signed with the NJ Devils. Now here is a guy that made all four years even under the new NHL CBA. I know he probably had pressure to leave in 2004. gp g a p pim 2002-03 Miami CCHA 41 4 19 23 - 64 2003-04 Miami CCHA 41 7 19 26 - 78 2004-05 Miami CCHA 38 7 27 34 - 66 2005-06 Miami CCHA 39 9 22 31 - 48

I noticed the same thing in the regional. I think Drew came back from his injury too soon.

I guess we are missing it out here in the hinder land. I couldn't see Cory Starting over Parise if he was on the Sioux. Very Briggs like in my opinion.

I am going to go out on a limb and agree with PCM. Scheider is anything but special. Letting in 5 goals in a hockey game ussually will get you an early shower and a loss. 5 goals is 5 goals. Unforunately our goaltender let in 6 goals. In fact UND has hung 11 on Schneider in the last two games, ussually you would expect 2 victories. I bet Vancover isn't looking at signing him anytime soon, they have enough goalies in their system seiving our right now. In fact I think he is right up there with Montoya as being one of the most overrated USA goalies.

The thing is, you can back check all you want but if your team can't keep up ala Wisconsin they could be in trouble. The fact that they have Elliot is the key to the puzzle. If Brian is off tonight Wisconsin gets shelled. Just my HMO. In the Final Five UND killed Wisconsin with their speed.

Basically Slap Shot is right, the Players took it in the shorts (you know what we mean family show) when they signed their latest CBA. Funny this is that if the players had signed the CBA offered in Feb of 2004 they would have had more. This is why they players discarded their player rep shortly after the CBA was signed.

Bergen RecordZajac on the way? This is according to the Bergen Record, a New Jersey newspaper. I mean whatever, did we have a plant from the Bergen Record in our lockeroom this season. I hate this time of year. You never know who you can trust anymore.

I woke up this morning and I felt a little empty, almost as bad as I did in 1998 after the Sioux went out at the hands of Michigan, then I remembered that I had to go over to Kings Walk and renew my membership for another great season of golf. This is after I took the dog for a long walk in the country and tried to think of something possitive. This one stings but who would have thought the Sioux would go this far. I guess I will hold off jumping off anything this year.

I agree with you Red Wing until the Twins spend some money on something other than second rate free agents they will be a third place team in a weak division.

I have a hole in my heart from yesterday's game but I think there is no reason to be alarmed, the future looks very bright. I must thought we would find a way to win but the planets didn't line up for UND this year. I am sure there are a lot of teams that would love to be where UND was yesterday. DU didn't make the playoffs, Minnesota was bounced by a determined 15 seed and C.C. couldn't beat Cornell. It's so hard to get to the Frozen Four and I think UND will be back soon. If you would have told me UND would have been in the Frozen Four I wouldn't have believed it. I think UND is going in the right direction. Yesterday our offensive stars looked lost, I can't remember our boys being out of it like they were today. I just hope UND can keep the core group of players from yesterdays game next sesaon. The Young defense will be older, bigger, stronger and hopefully left with a bad taste in their mouth and determined to get back to the Frozen Four in St. Louis. Now it's time for some golf.

I think we get another one in the next 2-3 years. We blew our chance yesterday and I think the Eagles win tomorrow night.
-
LOL, now that is funny.

There have been some epic games between B.C. and UND in the past I guess I expect more of the same. I just hope we can get rolling and not have to put up with the East Coast Refs in this game.

I am touched and I hope someone has the sign more cowbell.

Actually I bet Sprig and Fetch tell you that Lab like to chew anything they can get in their mouths. Socks, shoes, gloves, copenhagen cans, pop cans, chairs. Never leave anything out you don't want chewed/destroyed. You must watch them like a hawk when they are puppies, have lots of raw hide bones. My lab even chewed his on his dogloo in his outside kennel. You have to have the support of your spouse fore most.
