They were talking about the WJC when it was in Boston and apparently Jack Parker told one of the XM boys that the Boston area got more fired up for the Bean Pot then the WJC. They went on to say that it was one of the worst attended junior events in tourney history. I am beginning to think the WJC tourney is an after thought.

I appears to be more of a beauty contest. I question too why Ryan wasn't on the team. The only thing I can think of is he was part of the problem from last season they were talking about. Apparently some of the players didn't get a long too well.

Yep that is what we need on the ice for the Sioux. Toews just scored again, where has that been all year. I hope the Toews that is playing in Sweden gets on the plane and comes back to UND. That kind of play could be big in the second half of the season.

Steve Downie the player that Johnson elbowed last season in Vancover. The TSN announcers called it a phantom elbow. There is some discussion whether Johnson actually elbowed him.

It will be interesting to see what Toews does after the season. Chicago is starting to play well under Savard. The Blackhawks are actually in the playoff hunt along with the wild.

They just had a really nice piece on Lee and Toews being team mates at the University of North Dakota, it was pretty sweet. Funny how TSN doesn't have any trouble showing our logo.

If the USA plays like they did today there is a chance they could back in time for the games. I don't know how their legs would be and they would have some serious jet lag. Who knows.
