Stuttgart was home to the RAF terrorists and a monthly demonstration of some kind. Some of those people were scarey looking. As an MP we guarded the gates and we always had something happening at the front gate keep us busy. Run through were always fun. As far as the Border goes took a tour of the East German border before I left Germany I can remember getting the riot act about no one figure salutes, and how we were suppose to provoke the east germans. I am like they have a gun I don't. The Beer story sounds like my first National Guard AT with the Mass guard, we stop at the Class 6 store and park the jeep out front with the M60 machine gun right on top. There I am sitting in the jeep guarding it while my to squad members are in there buying beer in full field gear. Now adays they would court martial you.

I believe that is the correct call in this case, the rules are the rules. The rules state you get in a fight you can't play your next game. The players and coaches should have thought twice before they got into a bench clearing brawl at the end of the game. Fighting in college hockey is something that happens very rarely but when it does it has consequences, that is the way the rules were written. I am sure if the league had made an exception for these teams, the league would to give other teams the same type of treatment and they would expect the same type of treatment. Good call by the league.

I think it woud be wrong if the league allowed them to do this. Basically like Hak said you do the crime you do the time.

Apparently I guess we can't see the hidden talent or flaws in these players (Watkins and Kozek) game that Lives is seeing. Whatever, floats his boat. I would think Hak and NHL scouts would know more than most of us arm chair coaches.

I am puzzled by the move myself. I think if anything Kyle has shown a vast improvement each year and he has done the dirty work when others haven't. I think he has cut down on the penalties and if someone needed to stick up for a team mate he would be there. I suppose Hak is sending him a message but Kyle isn't the only one that needs to recieve one. Heck yeah I would sit Finley this weekend if anything and have a more moble defense corps.

Army cool, Where in Germany were you stationed? I was stationed in Stuttgart, Germany home of Patch Barracks and the EUCOM HQ, was on guard duty at the EUCOM comand center the night we bombed Lybia. That was pretty weird. 0300 in the morning and all the Generals come in. I spent the next half hour at attention. Germany was a trip. The Germans protested at the front gate about once every two months.

I think the REA looks better in December without a whole bunch of snow pilled all around it. Banana Belt in ND? Where is that? LOL

There wasn't one hard question on the show last night. First question I would have asked out of the gate: Are you sending Kyle Radke a message by sitting him in the stands? Why is Radke sitting in the stands. Are you going to sit any other players in the stands? What are you going to do to keep the gaa per game below 4 goals. Are you bringing in another goalie next season? How was the week in practice. There wasn't one tough question and I was surprised that Tim H didn't at least say something about losing a high energy player.

I like that idea.

Now we are deciding for the coaching staff from the stands who has had a shot. You must not have listened to the coaches show? I am beginning to wonder if your a Sioux fan or just here to stir people up and get into arguments?

The kid is tough the Fighting Sioux need that in the line up. I hope he comes back next season.

First thing we have to do is convince Hak to have Phil step asside so Grieco can get a shot. Second its possible, Grieco is about the same age as Schweitzer when he made his run. I am glad I am not the only one thinking this. There are some amazing runs out there and as we all know in college hockey the same team doesn't stay hot the whole year. Ala the Goofers loss to HC in the Regonal last season. Spirko eats up Briggs.
