I am pretty sure that you won't get any argument from me, because I think all the refs in the WCHA suck. I don't think Champion is much better than Adam, personally, the NHL refs are much better than the college hockey refs I remember when Herb Brooks was alive I remember him saying that College hockey should use NHL officials. Don Adam and Derrek Sheppard are the worst. There is no excuse for their crap.

Kessel looked a step off (kind of like the rest of his team mates) last night and got lit up twice by Sens players. One time he got pasted hard by Corvo and I can't remember the other player that rocked him. But he is back and will be a factor once he get his legs back.

From what I hear, the Mavs fans are starting to become anzious about Jutting, I don't think he that bad of a coach, his team play with heart but they are not very talented. Seriously, they are in a tough situation. It has to be tough to compete against the likes of UND, UMN, Wisconsin, they are going to get the kids the big schools don't want.

I was looking at the stats too and noticed that Brunteau and Malone are not scoring at all really. I just hope they pick it up. Since we need scoring this year as well. Lapoints and Hextall seem to be the ones that are scoring on a regular basis.

I am not so sure I would call him a goon. Intense might be a better word for it. These guys are under a lot of pressure and from the way I see most of the officials don't call the game the way is should be. I remember TH the other night calling Hunt one of the worst in the league. Just a thought.

I had the same problem myself.

I watched the game and I didn't think the Mavs got hose by the refs any worse than any other game I have seen over the years but it did seem odd that Minnesota got all of the power plays. Actually in Champion's defense we could have called a MSU-M player for a CFB and didn't. This isn't a way to get the calls to go your way. I imagine it going to be costly for the Mavs coaches. I am sure the League is going to stick up for its refs. I would imagine a suspension is coming after this one.

Nope I have thought the same thing myself, Lee plays offense and has been caught up ice a few times over the course of the seaosn and I believe he could be used up as a forward. Lee like you said isn't affraid to go into the corner and get the puck. I would think why not play him as a forward?

I would also like to see a mean streak and some nastyness. Hopefully we will see that without a parade to the penatly box.

I was surprised too after all of the loses we took in the first half, the playoffs are still within reach but long losing streaks would put an end to it fast. The next few weeks are parmount to getting in the playoffs, BSU is sitting really high two wins against them would be key.

Sioux Habit I am disapointed in Kozek and Watkins they have done nothing this season or since they have been here, how the heck did these two finish so high in the BCHL in scoring their last year of Juniors? They have huge roles and have not scored. I looked at the nuber last night Kozek has 20 points in two seasons Watkins has less, isn't the BCHL known for creating scorers. These guys were top players in the league. Where the heck did all their talent go? Duncan is still doing it? I guess I can see where some are frustrated too I am frustrated also. Zajac while he skates up and down the ice making plays he is scoring either, he was another high end player in the BCHL. I thought he was supposed to be a relentless player that was almost as good as his brother. Genoway is on the only Freshman that has impressed me this season on a regular basis, Forney and VV should have stayed in Jr's another season.

I don't remember a lot of people making excuses about UND not having those three players especially since C.C. was missing a big part of their team, with sweat. I remember at the last game people sarcastically commenting on when Lee was going to be going to the WJC. Its all a mute point now, UND won 3/4 of the games and have the ball in their court on what they are going to do in the second half of the season.

If you ever watch Nate Lawson play goal against the Sioux he has this stupid grin on his face, a few years back he was taunting the croud and I can't stand the kid. Every time he play UND he plays out of his head. I want UND to lite him up and both games. There is no excuse for this kid to be smiling at the end of the weekend series. Apparently the Sioux snubbed this kid. I heard he wanted to come here and the Sioux coaches weren't interested.
