Seriously I would be happy to just get points this weekend. Two loses will pretty much wrap up the season for them. They aren't going to win the final five from the play in game. I think if the Sioux play defense this weekend like they did last weekend we will be ok, I know that the EZAC isn't a very good league and we are 3-0 against teams in that league, but its something to build on. If the Sioux returns to the form of poor goaltending and porous defense it will be a long series, and basically the beginning of the end for UND. I don't think C.C. is that good of a team so its possible to win.

So the USA can finish no worse than 4th place right?

I am getting to that point, I have turned the new off and the hockey on. I am a lot happier that way. Starbucks coffee is good and I leave it at that. Same with Caribou.

One of them was a bench penalty for abusive language, so it sounds like he was the designated sitter. Roach now with 5 points 2g's and 3 a's in 14 games. That is not too bad. Jones 1 g's and 2 assists in 17 games. Nice to see the UND boys doing good in the NHL.

Kind of Ironic that they are losing two defensive players and end up winning two in a row. They took the throphy and ho hum skated off of the ice.

That is well said, you can only hope he is getting treatment for his problem and with the proper care he should be fine. Maybe a change of scenery will be good for him I could see him playing professionally because he is a good player.

SLU is doing a lot of lipping off tonight. What is up with that? The guy that scored the SLU goal went by the Sioux box running his mouth too. The last 5 periods of hockey UND has played some of the best defense I have seen all season long. This is the kind of stuff that UND needs to do to win. I realize we are playing some teams that are what we might call weak but its something to build on after watching what we say in the first half of the season.

They must miss their players at the WJC.

Hirsh picked Minnesota over UND and for that I am thankful. It is a shame though that his career had to end this way. Someone will pick him up and he will probably at least play in the ECHL.
