Yeah it is a sad loss, like I said I admired the way he played the game and if I had been a hockey player I would have wanted to play the game way Marty did but there was some players that made the game fun to watch, he was one of them. I agree the fans loved him, when I first got to UND there wasn't a lot to cheer about in requards to UND hockey. Ironic how the Hardnosed players a lot of time tend to be the ones that leave the biggest impressions on the youth and people they come in contact with and mentor.
I believe that he played the game by the motto Play or go home.
Reguardless, a belly bump, big deal...
Was a police report filed, haven't seen where one was.
I don't think it is grounds to sit a player, taking stupid penalties are.
If anything saying Davidson was on the trip and wasn't is more agregious.
A belly bump, so are we to consider that really bad behavior. What if the kid was really drunk and stumbled into said hockey player?
There are two sides to this story and it appears to me to be childish highschool type issue. "he looked at me wrong and smile at my girl friend."
Its kind of like yawn, I am bored with this too... Time to focus on C.C.
All these kids are going to do is wake up the Sioux who hopefully will pound the snot out of the Huskies next
time they play...
I don't care if UND ever plays Minnesota, Iowa or Wisconsin in Football, big deal. Second do you think that the Board isnt' going to get any back lash if the name is changed? I think that is far from the truth.
Seems as if the MTU hockey fans have like this fixation with UND. That's what I took from it.
Big deal you won a game. The blog article that caught me was the whinning about the officials.
Lastly, what is it with phil and the fans around the league. Seems he is well liked.
I hate to put a lot of pressure on these kids just yet, but I wouldn't mind them being higher than third this season
so they don't have to worry if they are going to make the NCAA title and have to win every game and play unders such pressure.
I would like to go into the playoffs and know they are already in the big dance.
