  1. How exactly is a NDSU win good for North Dakota in general? That makes no sense to me.
  2. The Cow College down South is THE enemy, always has been and always will be even if we don't play them in football for another 50 years! The Gophers have never been our enemy in football. How quickly some of you forget what a true rivalry is, and how much scorn and ridicule the SU faithful heaped on the Sioux football program for so many years, maybe some of you are too young too remember. I'd rather root for Taliban U than those arrogant SOBs from Fargo. So if you choose to cheer for the Bison Saturday you can then call yourself a sort of Sioux fan, or a sometimes Sioux fan, or a when it's convenient Sioux fan, but a tried and true bleeds kelly green Sioux fan you can never be. Here endeth the lesson.
  3. lifelong Sioux fan here who also has had Gopher FB season tickets for 10 years, with the evil empire coming to the Metrodome on 10/21 I'm trying to track down some anti-NDSU apparel for me and my other Bison-hating bretren who will be at the game. I know since the Sioux haven't played them for so long that it might be tough to find. Anyone have any ideas? If not I might have to have something made up special, any ideas other than the old standbuys of "Buck the Fison" or "NDSUcks". Any help will be appreciated, I need something special to greet the many MOO U fans who will be making the trip for what hopefully will be a serious beat down by the Gophers.
  4. All the downtown hotels that are walking distance to Kohl Center are booked solid. Your best bet is to just do a hotels.com search and find something 10 minutes from campus in Middleton or on the East side of town. For football tickets just wait until gameday and get some on the street, it won't be a problem even though it's homecoming, with 80,000 tickets sold at least 1000 change hands on gameday. Six together might be a stretch but you'll get in, as much as I hate Bucky it is a pretty nice stadium and a cool football environment now that they renovated it. I'll be tailgating with some Gopher football buddies at Edgewood High School 1/2 mile west of Camp Randall.
  5. The Eagan location shows the games as well and since I live in Eagan that's where I usually go. It's not the social scene that Bloomington is but there are usually several Sioux fans in Eagan too.
