Its the REA and the whole nick name thing, possibly Ralph's caviler attitude towards the P.C. crowd. I would be willing to bet this is fueling Brand's hatred towards UND.

Is it possible that Janke is letting the NCAA save some face before they lose this lawsuit? The reason I say this, there has to be some really damaging things out there by the NCAA that they are hoping doesn't get released. It would appear that UND is going to win this. I heard the whole membership vote subject come up again. Hummmm....

That is what I am talking about, everyone is acting like MTU is this great unbeatable powerhouse. The reality is that MTU isn't the door mat they once were, they are no longer the easy four points. I get that. I would still put them in the same boat as a Northeastern University or Providence or Ferris State. MTU is a good team but they aren't world beaters. Everyone talks about the team that went to the final five last year that got man handled by a middle of the pack Wisconsin team. If you remember back to the Final five last season MTU was hard pressed to cycle the puck out of their own end. UND needs to win this series and take some points and get some revenge for being embarrassed in their own barn last season.

I think that anything less than 2 points is unacceptable. I would hope The Fighting Sioux plays hard and lays some smack down on the huskies after embarrassed the Sioux last season in the REA. I would hope they come out and hustle and out work the Huskies. I am one of those people that realize that MTU is improved but I also don't believe all the hype. Sure they are a 4-7 place team in the WCHA, but UND should win against the Huskies. Getting swept by this team last season was unacceptable and the Sioux should have a bad taste in their mouth and should play with an edge this weekend.
