The corner bar is actually a new building it used to be a really run down bar in the same location in Nymore (Bemidji) that My buddies and I used to hit after Bemidji State Beaver hockey games, it is a sports type bar that has killer ham burgers with fried onions. Now when I go back to bemidji to visit or watch the Sioux whoop the beavers a$$ I still have to go to the Corner bar first before the game. It is a tradition.

I would have loved to see Radke take on that Wisconsin Goon Davis Drewiske. Takes a big man to cross check someone in the head after they have scored. Radke definately would have answered the bell...

Its the left wing lock, lining up on the blue line, it's hockey version of the full court press, playing a very defensive scheme. Boring hockey see the Old New Jersey Devils, Wisconsin Badgers and Denver Pioneers. Craig Dahl's teams were famous for it, they would hook and hold up and down the ice. It is harder to get away with playing it in the NHL because the refs call the game so close. Sometimes teams will play it because they aren't as talented and they have to slow the opposition down. Godawful hockey to watch. For the most part the Sioux play the run and gun but I have seen them play the trap in the playoffs or when they are sitting on a lead.
