When I lived in Swanson Hall, Sioux7 of Goon's World fame was my roommate and we were coming back to the hall from tail gating with a giant cooler full of beer and other fun beverages. The RHD asked what's in the cooler, Sioux7 replied, "ice and carbonated beverages." We smartly went into our room. They never searched us.

That sounds like the UND Parking Nazis that acted like the Gestapo of the 1930's and 40's. I told the woman at the meeting in question that their ticket writers need to learn a little thing called officer discretion. Apparently, during the 1980's and 1990's that's a difficult concept to grasp. The bad thing is, if you don't pay your ticket fines, you can't graduate or register for class.

Many people are superstitious, I have to have three golf balls when I play golf, one for the course and two for my pocket. I also must have at least five tee's in my pocket. I can't play without my golf shoes. I have a routine when I go to UND hockey games. I don't think there's anything wrong with being superstitious.
