Went to sugars bar after the game on Friday and Sertich sat right behind me at the next table. Man that guy sure has lost some hair in the last couple of years. The hit on Leinweber was a big time penalty that went uncalled, feel bad for him because he didn't play too bad, got an assist and then knocked out of the game.

MTU, Actually lined up at the blue line and clogged up the neutral zone pretty effectively, it appears that MTU might have had a pep talk from Sertich. I am satisfied and I thought it was an ok game to watch, UND didn't make a lot of mistakes and I was satisfied, especially since SCSU only won both games by one goal. It was cool to see UND raise the sticks at center ice after the sweep, we made sure to watch it and enjoy the minute... I think UND played ok, its hard to come back after a shellacking like the night before. Brandt made some great saves... We were surprised to see Siembeda in the third period. Brandt got the save of the game as he made a big save in the second period, that really helped the Sioux. Love Brandts new mask...

I am sick and tired of the ZOD crap. I think you can put pig on that list too... Any body wounder if UND is ever going to be any good this season, I thought after the 5 wins in a row UND would get going... UND has a new a $100,000.00 dollar palace and we can't win it. UND also can't get a goaltender to win a game for us and our forwards keep hitting pipes, our defensemen assist on game winning goals... Talk about bad Karma. What the He!! it can't get any worse let Andy get his start. It is sure going to suck not seeing UND in the final five this season. Oh well got my tickets anyways...

sprig, You might want to ask around, we were in Dag Woods for the games against MSU-Mankato and the bar maid gave my buddies tickets out of the blue for free. There seems to be a lot people that have had simular types of things happen to them. With the way the team has played there are probably going to be extra from people that doing something else those evenings. Good luck to you...

I hope a year in the Jr's Will Fylling because that kid can fly. I think it was also a smart decision because he can probably come back more mature and seasoned. Lane Sedivie looked like his injuries weren't slowing him down to much in the all-star game as he made some great saves against the World all-star team. It made me kind of excited about the future...

Coach talked various things during the coaches show. He didn't get into the reffing. At first Blaiser was kind of avoiding talking about the games at all, but he got on with it after they talked around the subject. As someone had eluded to, Forward Ryan Connelly is out for the season he had surgury on his shoulder. Blais said in fact he maybe in surgury as we speak. Hopefully he will make a speedy recovery and be ready to go next season. UND will open up with the University of Michigan in the Ice Breaker tourney, I think that is the tourney that is out in Maine, that SCSU won this season. I personally think that is good thing, we will get some good competion to start the season off. I know we also have a christmas tourney with Yale and Bemidji State and Harvard. UND also gets Canisus and Niagra in additon (this was from a previous show earlier in the season). Blaiser also is not happy with this season past schedule and has talked to the league commish about it. Dean said that even if they run the table they are not probably going to get a home seed. I am sure most of us realize that. Blaiser said he would love to play the Badgers. On Ballard from Minnestoa, Blaiser said he would not trade any of his defenseman for Keith Ballard. Coach Blais thinks the defensemen are comming around nicely. The forwards are all working real well in practice. Sounds like they are clicking real well. Unforunately it looks like Andy might start one game in net this weekend. Injuries: Schneeclopt is still questionable. Chad Mazurak's ankle is still hurting and he can't pivot right.

Dagies, I watched some replay of the USHL all star game last weekend. Matt Green was in the ushl all star team although he didn't stick out he did ok. Quinn Flyling was pretty good too buzzing all over the place. Lane Sedieve (sp) look real good so maybe he will be the man next season. I am getting rumors that UND is looking at another forward to bring in next season, but that is all I know.

I think that in the Saturday night game Reffing was the difference, there is no question about it. Minnesota and North

Sprig I am going to go out on a limb and pick BU and MSU as my teams for the NCAA title. For some reason I don't like any of the WCHA teams this season. Denver is falling like a rock (so we might be playing them at the right time), UofM has peaked and can't get two consistent game back to back. I think UND will get a lot of these teams at the right time., C.C. is good but I think if UND played them in the WCHA tourney I think we would beat them this time. SCSU they are really falling too. I think some of these team peaked to fast. I just hope UND can get to the WCHA finals...

If you look at teams that moved into new building you will see that it takes time to get used to the new building. Check out the NHL, Montreal, Boston, Chicago, LA all moved into new building in the last 1-10 years all had some degree of trouble with their new buildings. The Boston Bruins is the most notable. I think also Minnesota had trouble when they first moved into the new maryucci... It is just part of the transition period. I am sure there will be a few quirkes to the new building that will take some time to fix. When I sad down in the lower bowl last series I didn't realize how on top of the ice the lower seats are...

Heck I was booing what a terrible display during the MSU series and I was booing the play the goaltender. Andy should step aside with grace he has no leg to stand on to make a bunch of demands. Taz I don't think you will see Andy play anymore, maybe one clean up/back up game. I really feel Josh and Jake are better psyically and mentally. No Really its crunch time and UND can't afford to give points away, because we wan't to protect a players ego. Let him sit on the bench. Blais did it to Toby and to Schwitzer to a certain degree. Blais is probably going to give his team that speech if we don't win almost every game everynight were done, stick a fork in us. (From what I hear Blaiser is an emotional coach and the players get used to this intense coaching) Really if we have to play UofM or UofW in the first round we probably won't go to the final five. UND can't afford to give players that haven't met the mustard to get one more charity start. Andy has not proved he deserved to play this season he had 13 starts with a high GAA 5-7 and poor record. What else do you guys want?

It looks more and more like UND could be playing the Dirty Badgers as a first round opponent in Madison. If UAA can't beat the dirty Badger tonight they will only be able to get probably 6th place finish at best... I think the Sioux would welcome the opportunity.

How can employers be like that work their employees from sun up to sun down. I am sure coming back to the Midwest must have been a shock after experiencing some nice weather... Oh well maybe this make your day UMD just beat UofM 5-2. Sad thing is they can't blame Hauser tonight.
