Davids Lundbohm sits on Saturday I assume it was a result of his poor play on Saturday as well as most of the season... Mike Prpich takes a stupid penatly Friday and sits out Saturday night just as Blais suggested he would. James Massen sitting all weekend. Coach Blais seems to be sending messages to players that don't pull their weight or play the way Blais wants them to. Most of us have heard his statement: play my way or sit on the bench next to the coaches or in the stands. Blantantly obvious this was the case this past weekend.

I watched the Championship game of the WJC and they called all of this stuff. I think that is Zach was able to be the top player in the tourney. I think Zach will shine in the second half because our team is so deep... The opposing teams have to worry about three lines so its going to be more difficult to play UND this way, and I think UND will get the benifit of being on the PP if teams play UND this way...

They should even more tired after having Sea Wolves players drapped all over them all weekend. Do coaches teach their players in practice to hook, hold, slash, tackle. I mean I can't believe a coach would sit at the black board during films and say, this weekend we are playing UND the number one ranked team in the nation. We want you to be drapped all over them. Slash them hook them, hold them... I have watched probably 50 NHL games this season and I have yet to see this type of hockey.

I would say yes and CB has put them back together. I think they are going to be hard pressed to score 68 more goals with someone drapped all over them.

A UAA player Bloodied Zach in the corner in the third period and I thought should have warrented a 5-3 power play. The reffing was horrible all weekend UND had to kill off two 5-3 power plays for the weekend. But no Mason set the precedent that he was going to let the top players for UND get mugged by teams like UAA... Tim Hennesey said that he made the comment that UAA really earned the split and Blaiser responded with no they didn't... Back to Parise if teams are going to be allowed to hang, slash, pick and interfer on our star players like Zach and Brady and Bochenski some other line is going to have to step it up...

JBSU, SCCC, Marci=Means program envy of the Gophers or you could insert other sucessfull programs. The Middle sister If I remember right in the Brady's family from the Brady Bunch. Yes I watched this show when I was young...

Add to that the Roman C great goaltender sent off to LA and Hacket basically shown the door in Boston because he sucked so bad... I am not sure how that is a up grade.

I bet the guy watched Zach play two games against B.C. and decides that Zach isn't that good. One that is level headed wouldn't come to a conclusion like that. Only 6th in Scoring in the WCHA, third on his team because he missed 4 games, played hurt for a good part of the begining of the season. Like I said earlier watch teams that check him to the point of hanging, clutching, grabbing and mugging him up and down the ice. I think this is a testament of Zach play. Not too mention Zach doesn't wait at the red line for the puck he goes and gets it, plays defense and makes plays. I don't know about others but I am sick and tired of people bashing Zach... The kid is an awesome player that shows a lot of class and determination on the ice. If I was a coach I can't think of a player I would rather have...

This has to be one of the stupiest things that I have read this year. That is like one person saying Vanek is having a sub par season with 20+ points. Like I told someone last week its hard to score when you got some goon from UMD, SCSU, DU (insert team) drapped all over you. The telling thing of the season was when Parise was called for a penalty for yanking a guy off of him that was drapped all over him.

I don't understand the logic your taking in suggesting that we not play these guys that much, your talking about 18-19 year old kids. I don't see it happening. If I am not mistaken Stafford is barely 18. This isn't the NHL were teams rarely play more than three nights in a row. You have to go with your best players. Those three are 3 of the top 4 players on our team. I am sure if Zach can play with a bum knee he can play after playing 5 or 6 games in 10 days. They got a lot of time to rest up too next week...

I am pretty sure that I am not dressing for the game this weekend nor am I playing next weekend, I am not a coach so I don't have to worry about bulletin material... So I not going to worry about taking anyone lightly. SO I am pretty sure I am going to say whatever I want. That being said I think UND should pound them the sea wolves this weekend.

Was anyone going to ask about the X-mas Tourney next season.

I guess I am not really going out on a limb then eh? I really think this is a series where UND could score a ton of goals and get some points. From what I have seen in print on UAA they don't look too impressive. I would love to see the Money line re-united and scoring goals.

Yeah then we would score a ton of goals then. I suspect UND will eventually break through on the power play something where UND goes 4/6 on the power play. You heard it here first... I could see it happening in the future...
