I am not sure but I think it was in 1995 when they discovered that UNA was running a dirty program. Now UNA is 12-0 and has a new coach who was 4-7 last season. I would imagine that UND is fast and loaded with talent that will have the UND defensive back field back pedeling as soon as they get off of the Charter.

I like the game/role Big Mike plays, he held pretty boy Vanek to no points when UND played the Dirty Gophers. Now some have called him dirty but I think gritty is more accurate.

Back in the 1990's (I forget the year must have been 1994-1995-1996 somewhere in there) when UND was playing UNA in the semis, I remember UNA getting caught for giving something like 54 scholarships to their football players and they put on probabtion for cheating, this was the same year they won the NCAA division two crown. Anyone have any clue if this is the same coach this year that was coaching when UND played them.

Sure WSU was fine but top to bottom the NSIC isnt half as strong as the NCC, why do you think UMD is coming here next season to play in the NCC, its a stronger league in all of their sports. WSU, UMD are good the rest of the team are mediocre. This is another reason UND and the other Division two teams must fight reducing scholarships.

Thats the problem most of the time the refs in our league do not enforce the rules and you end up with MTU, MSU-M, SCCC... Brutal hockey, and guys getting penatlies for knocking an opposing player off them that is drapped all over them. So that throws that theory out of the water.

Were going to be loaded at Defense and the Sioux Defense are going to be huge. Maybe some will get red shirted or asked to play Jr one more year. Remember people leave, or can't adapt to the college game or sitting in the stands and may move on.

We have enough small players, you can not win with a whole bunch of smallish speedy players, as seen in the past all the bigger slow teams do is clog up the middle, and start with the Clutch, grabbing and hooking ala SCCC. So that is why I assume we have gotten some monsters. I am not sure why some assume that bigger players can't skate fast. The logic is flawed. Guys like Jager of Washington are big strong guys that can skate fast.

So who is signed and not signed. I assume Beaverson, Lammy Radke Kaip Zajac Anyone else beside no having one on Ducan yet.

Hopefully this will be after UND wins a couple of NCAA titles.

I agree with CRR. Stafford will probably opt in the next year after next because there (I dont' care what Don Cherry Says) The players and the owners are miles appart. Some of these kids are going to be around one more year at least. Which I think UND wins in that situation.

UND has played 10 games and the money line has 20 goals it think UND's big guns are going to have to average 3-4 goals to break the 100 goals for the season. The line of fire had 83, after 10 games I am having my doubts. But I have not lost faith. Goon

Sounds like officiating might be one of the topics, Blaiser told TH after the game that there has been an awful lot of penatlies this season. That has to be the understatment of the year.
