According to Coach Hakstol he is ahead of the other two goalies right now. Who knows since practices are closed to the public.

I would suggest you send a ringer goalie over 5'9" that can play.

I agree with WPoS, most of the Gophers fans I have met over the years are a lot of fun but the Badgers fans seem to be a bunch of fall down drunken rubes.

Dagies I think you on to something, his cross checking penalties are probably reputation penalties. I am sure the refs talk about players to watch. I know Adam watch Commi like a hawk everytime he breathed I swear they were calling him for a penalty some of them warranted and some reputation.

UND is 1-3-2 in the last 6 games against C.C.

Actually I just want to see someone play good and UND win. Hopefully someone will establish themselves as the starter.

Yeah, if you listen to the rubes in Minnesota you would have thought UND was a bunch of classless hacks comprised of 25 year old Canadians. And where ever there is a fight UND is right in the middle of it.

I think that would be right let them play a few games to right the ship. UND schedule so far has been pretty stiff no cup cakes.

UND has some good players from the BCHL. Murray and Zajac are two that come to mind right away.

Here are the Goalie Numbers. 1 Jordan Parise .894 3.14 2- 2- 1 .500 34 Philippe Lamoureux .932 1.92 1- 0- 1 .750 30 Jake Brandt .895 2.40 1- 0- 0 1.000 Brandts and Parise Numbers aren't great/good. However, Jordon has played the most games and actually with too bad games under his belt his numbers could be worse. In fact a few good games and they will be right back up there were they are suppose to be. After all my posts against Briggs, actually Parise has Briggs type numbers at the present time. However, I would still rather have Parise in net than Briggs. I know Jordon will get better. I am sure the Game against Minnesota put him in a funk. Maybe it is time for Phil to be given a chance. That being said UND better get better this weekend and next, if they don't they will go 0-4, I am thinking a 3-1, 1-1-2 or 2-2 record would be exceptable.

UND doesn't have the same kind of team that it used to have. Realistically speaking UND is pretty young.

Brandt stays home. Jordon plays ok, but not great. Phil makes a second start. I am leaning toward Jordy and Lammy playing. Sorry Brandt. I think honestly the coachs are giving both Brandt and Parise to play themselves out of a starting position before Phil is given the job...

Yep I do. Most UND fans have seen it happen over the past 5-10 years. In one incident Don Adam once told the UND coachs after they called a penalty against Mike Commodor that lead to a power play goal that lost the game for UND apparently Donn Adam skated past the UND bench and said now were even. That should never happen in any game with any official. That official should have been fired on the spot. Todd Anderson's hatchet job the weekend before is more proof. Also look at the game he called when UND played B.C. the year before. They guy has it out for the Sioux. Personally I think the Refs in this league have knee pads and they just absolutely blow. So I think Zelkin is better than anything we have. It was the same when Wooger was the coach for the UofM. I honestly think Wooger got screwed by the ref when he was the coach. Any objective observer would probably say that. But with Lucia he gets all the breaks. Maybe it is because Woog worked the refs over. I think Blaiser did too. But a lot of times Blaiser had a point. Its hard to sit there and watch your players get rode up and down the ice by some gorilla drapped all over them.

Its called having a crop of new rookies and losing two or three guys that were good at getting the puck out our own end. More specifically Lundy, Bucks and Parise. Those are some pretty good players. I am now convicned that it going take some time to get things going. I think UND will be ok, it seems that Zajac is a sniper that can score.

I think that is actually a nice way of looking at it and it doesn't seem too bad. We could be 2-4-2, 1-7 or 2-6.

I watched him in both games I didn't think he was that great, but he was consistane, called it both ways and called the hooks and holds. The problem with the refs in the "W" is there is too much bisased in the refing of the games and teams just can't get a fair shake. I think UND is one of those teams that always ends up on the short end of the stick. That being said, this new guys is a breath of fresh air and an improvement over Todd Anderson, Donn Adam, Greg Sheppard and any of the the Schmidts. On a side bar anyone know where Kleven surfaced?

I am not so sure of that one. However, I think their goalie is over rated.
