We did go 5-1 and last night was probably a game we should have won. Now UMD did both lose to SCCC and UAA so I think UND can and should sweep UMD blow dogs this weekend. and then sweep Canisus before X-mas break so I think UND is sitting ok. UND can not afford to lose many more game this season and should be able to get to the final five and the NCAA's. Anything can happen once that happens. So what are we looking at UAA has beaten UND, UMD and UofM. I am still not that impressed with them. I also think their goalie held them in the game. Anyone notice how cockey that Kid is?

Brandt's numbers weren't that solid. .900 compared to Karls roughly about career save percentage.

These kids are the future of UND hockey, we know what the past brought us with Brandt. Lack of concentration, sub standard periods of goaltending. Besides in Brandts 4 years of hockey I haven't seen him come close to the displays that Lammy has put up. if Brandt would have play in Wisconsin it would have been 10-1 both nights. I think Jordon starting over Brandt last season in the NCAA's was an indication of what is to come. Remember Zach refered to him as the starting goalie.

By George I think he has got it. Championships are won in March and April not at the begining of the season. Funny how we used to hear this all last season.

The way I read it Drew Staffords Injury is one of them nagging injuries that isn't very serious just painful and that he is day to day and wants to play this weekend.

You have a point: I think the WCHA league schedule years favors some teams more than other teams because of the unbalanced schedule. For instance UND has Denver (2), UMD (2) and UofM (2), Giving UND an easies schedule. Toughest games in my opinioin are Wisconsin (home) and C.C. (away), UMD, the Sioux ussually play well there so I am not worried about it as much as the other two series. The rest of UND series are against lesser teams in my opinion. (4) UAA, (2) MSU-M (2) SCSU.

Ironically the liberal bias in the media is because a lot of it starts from the East Coast. Hum, one of the most liberal rags is in the same town as BU, BC, NE and Harvard...

Here is my question to Sioux fans, I am not picking a fight I am trying to understand the logic: 1. Why should Hak chance it and take Lammy and Jordon out of the line up to give Brandt another chance. I am not saying he should never play but both have done well in my opinion. Lammy obviously done better. I could see Brandt playing against Canisus. 2. In the past others have criticized the coaching staff for having 3 goalie rotation where no one gets confortable. 3. The early season loses have put UND behind the 8 ball and now they are starting to gell and win game be it games they should win. UND really can't afford to lose many more games and take chances with the play in game.

I agree, lets get er done next weekend against the UAA sea chickens and then go into duluth and get a point or two, hell even three or four if possible. UMD isn't very good right now and they did manage to lose to SCSU. I think top three is fine this season as winning the McNaughten has proved to be an anchor most season anyways.
