You won't have much to talk about, my golf game is less than stellar and I spend all day in the woods. I don't think I have to worry about fixing a diviot because there ussually isn't much grass in the places I end up.

Actually I know Tim O'keefe and he is a personable nice guy, not arrogant in any way as far as I am concerned. Tim is a UND grad/alumni as well as an old ex-UND hockey player. I don't think you will meet a more dedicated UND fan/pro-ponent. So I would agree with AZ-Sioux. Lets cut Tim some slack.

What a boring NCAA championship game. Just brutal. I think the best hockey has already been played this season. UGH, boring I am snapping my neck because this is so boring.

I like neither team playing in the game, in fact it disgusts me that UND couldn't beat Denver. I will watch the game but I really don't care who wins the game. However, the silver lining is that UofM will not three peat at the Fleet.

There is no reason for Stafford to opt out unless he is going to play in the NHL, I don't think he is close to being ready. Only way I can see him leaving is if he is failing in the classroom and if he went to Shattucks he probably was a decent student too...

PCM, Since your the USCHO arena reporter: Care to speculate how many goalies UND has come season opener. I was wondering if you had any theory or speculation on how many UND will carry on its roster? Just wondering. I remember this last season UND didn't keep 4 around and Marc Ranfranz was cut from the roster.

Isn't there some where in the neighborhood of 4000+ logos in the arena.

According to the Red Star and Sickle, Zach Parise recieved a 975,000.00 dollar signing bonus. That should make it easier for Zach to make ends meet if makes $80,000.00 if he has to play in Albany next season.

I think Domi has a role and does it well, however, that being said you probably won't see him very much during the playoffs a couple shifts a period, unless Domi starts pumping in goals. As for Marchment the guy is a thug, dirty player and I have no love for this guy, some of the things he as done on the ice the last couple of years is your basic goonary... I think Matts Sundin is a great player that needs to step it up if he team is going to advance in the playoffs. I have no problem with Darcy Tucker, I think he is a hard nosed player.

Great post. I hope Nashville kicks Detroits @$$. I think that would be great story almost as cool as Detroit losing to the Mighty Ducks last year. I want to see Boston play Toronto this playoff season so the mighty Bruins beat the Make Me Laughs so then I can rub it in my buddies face all summer when we are golfing, I love watching him flip out when the leafs lose, he threw a chair through the wall in our appartment after the great one score to bury his team (I believe it was 1992 or something like that). The year the Rangers won the cup he snapped after Pavel Bure scored to bury the Leafs again, he was taping the game, took the tape out of the VCR and threw into the street, the tape broke into pieces. Anger Management might be needed. I like seeing Edmonton doing well from Canada but that is about the only team, hate the Dirty Habs, respect the Leafs but not a hugh fan. I really can't stand Vancover, care less about the Flames. Again hate the Canucks especially after Bertuzzis antics the last couple of years. Don't like the Senators style of play, too many euros on their team, will get bounced from the playoffs in the first or second round again this season.

Disclamier----I am not blaming/flaming Sica I am just using his post as a good illustration of how awesome I believe the goaltending was this year: You can't blame the goalies for this seasons failures (and there wasn't many). I personally think the Goalies played awesome (and you can flame away for all I care) And f anyone thinks Parise aka Jordan the Goalie was to blame in lose in the Regional playoffs they need to have their head examined. Jordan let in one goal in 2 games. Those numbers don't sound too bad even for a guy that isn't a math (or spelling) major in college. Oh by the way UND lit some good goaltenders up this season too. Berkol, Riechmuth, Bruckler (3 goals against Him is good)
