Well lets look at the numbers; finally UND is 3-3 against the Gophers in the Ralph, No more Marriucci West. UND is 3-0 the last three against the Gophers in the Ralph. UND is 4-2 the last 6 against the Gophers. 7>5... I think the times are changing.

Actually I like the Gopher Football team, however, I think they blew it this season against Michigan (for a second year had them on the ropes only to let them off)and Michigan State. Costing them a really good bowl game. They will end up in some stupid bowl like the Humanitarian bowl or Toilet bowl. But I also think people are idiots when they suggest Mason should be fired.

I agree it appears that when Brandt is in net he doesn't concentrate that much.

I see the Sioux doing well this weekend. First home series of the year after going 3-0-1 on the road.

Both our goalies over the past two seasons have better numbers than Briggs. Face it he is not that good. He plays well against the MTU's, UAA's, UofMasses of the world but he isn't fit to carry Hauser's jock. His save percentage last season was .894 that not that great and Brandt and Jordan were both about that...

In other words its not run by CNN or The Red Star and Sickle. All Kerry all the time. Yesh...

One more day to go till game time. I am predicting a sweep by the Sioux this weekend. I think anything less is unexceptable, I suppose three points would be ok too. Lets face realtiy, the dirty Gophers have lost a lot of Talent. They lost the quarter back of the Gopher Powerplay Keith Ballard and they lost offensive juggernaught Pretty Boy Vanek. That just to name a few of the losses... Looking at the Gopher's goaltending, it is not very good Add bad goaltending to an inexperieced defensive corp... Could be two high scoring games.

Now we have the Red Star and Sickle lobbying potential recruits for the team. That seems interesting. I don't ever remember the Heraldo doing that. Don can't comment on future recruits until they are signed but he stated he needs another Center. Whew... On to the good news did everyone notice there are 5 other teams in the running. I hope Hak goes hard after this kid.

I think that is a great Idea.

From the perspective of a UND fan it seems more fullfilling to have the Sioux beat the Gophers than the dirty Badgers.

No they don't REA is a private Corporation. They do give like 1 million back to the university.

According to the Gopher fans its the dirty Badgers thats their top rival. I say whatever. So we get SCCC as our top natural rivals, thanks to Lucia anyways.

Then with that you will see the top teams rise and the ones that can't skate basically not be able to compete. I know Blaiser was on this for years and I find it ironic that after he leaves they put this rule in.

I am fine with there not being bears in ND. Can you imagine sitting in your blind and having a bear swim by. I can do with out that...

I think its about time the NCAA looked at the NCAA title game last year and saw a brutal game that was really hard to watch. No one wants to watch that crap. This is going to be good for teams like UND and UofM. They now will be allowed to skate and play hockey the way its supposed to be played. I think we will see a difference come mid way through the season. Teams like SCSU are going to have to change the way they play the game.

Yikes, I am running on low right now. I think that the obstruction rules are going to really hamper teams like MSU-M that rely on the clutching and grabbing to slow more superior teams down.

Maybe someone else thats lived here all their life can tell you that, but I am not aware of any bear season in ND. I am not too sure we have many of them anyways. I hate to make this a political debate, however, this is one of the reason I joined the NRA, Pheasants Forever, Duck Unlimited and vote Republican. I can't trust the leftist with my rights to hunt and my right to own a fire arm. Chuckie Schummer, Hillar Clinton, Ted Kennedy, John Kerry will take you gun rights away if you let them. Although I am not even remotely interested in bear hunting I am for the rights of others to hunt bears. its a slippery slope, think about it if lose your right for bear hunting, whats next? Pheasant and duck hunting, they could be. Thats why I am hoping that ND does a constitutional ammendment like Minnesota did. The Great State of Minnesota (one of the most Liberal in the Union) passed a constitutional ammendment making it your right to hunt and fish. If your interested in keeping your right to hunt, fight the good fight. In closing if your don't manage the bear herd your going to have problems of over population. I think that was the reason for wanting bear hunting.

I think that anything less than a sweep by the sioux will be unexceptable. UND is more powerful and I don't think Mankato is going to be much better than last season. Go Sioux.
