In regards to the minutes from the meeting, obviously the real problem has been lost in translation whether that's on purpose or not who knows... the problem is not "the seniors being upset about not getting enough ice time" and I think that's highlighted by the two girls who have just quit.

Someone with power needs to approach the players and ask their opinion. Even the girls that logged significant icetime have some words about Rivard. This program will go nowhere with the players telling the recruits to save themselves the trouble of coming here if Rivard is still coaching.

Hasbargen was in net today- which leads me to wonder where Hinkley is/was.

I want to remind people like Cratter and CoteauRinkRat that players also have the ability to read these forums and freedom of speech or not, you might want to take into consideration what you're saying before you spend your life ripping into women half your age. I'm on the women's team and seeing as how you are incapable of thinking in terms of others' perspectives I'll give you a little inside tip. We had a hell of a year, there were internal issues (as there is on every team) and we had to deal with an embarrassing record. We're not proud of that. It was probably one of the most emotionally draining years we've ever had. Now, taking the burden of our previous record into the playoffs we were fairly aware of what we were up against and our expectations. I am proud of what we accomplished in that game. I'm also more than disappointed that we were so close and lost. We finally came together as a team and laid it out there. It's something for us to build on and when the women's team does start to win championships even if it's years down the road I'll be more than happy Cratter to slide over and let you share my seat on the bandwagon. Before you start speculating and assuming the worst about UND's athletes (I've seen your other posts) take into account where you are in life and if you were in the public eye what would we get a chance to say to someone like you.

Looks like we've got a case of the fairweather fans. The boys lose and Matt Greene should quit hockey. We win, and his bone crushing hits are what the team needed. He has a dance move called the 'godzilla'. Look for it.

Amidst all of the criticism that is occurring I thought I would just mention that Matt Greene is amazing. His timing of penalties isn't great, but I think he leads on and off the ice without having to say anything. Not to mention he's a phenomenal dancer.

I saw a flyer at school today... race starts at 9:00 at SW corner of University Park. You have to be there to bet and make your bets by 8:45 and everything goes towards the Make a Wish Foundation. I can see a lot of girls coming out to watch the boys sweat in a lot less equipment.

I heard Matt Greene on XL93 this morning talking about a fundraiser they're doing. They have to do a 10K race on Saturday and their having the public show up and place bets on who they think will finish in what time. This could be fun if people decide to tailgate or something.

Siouxnami... in regards to the women's hockey team GPA... they managed to get it up over a 3.0, past the men's hockey team and had a 4.0 as well. I agree their first sem was embarrassing, but second semester they got their asses in gear.

Hey hockey heaven 83... ever talked to a hockey player? you make fun of other people for taking things way too seroiusly as a fan yet you devote your life to drop your panties on the floor of some (any) guy who's donned a sioux jersey. are you tired from all that chasing?

Both of the boys have girlfriends. Pick different victims.
