so lets sell out ALL our sports for the sake of competing in di-AA football!!!! YEAH!!!! I can't wait to see William and Mary BEAT THE *HIT out of Appalchian Emergency Room (Sorry - STATE!) for this years AA title Does ANYONE in America CARE? who wins the aa title compared to DII? $500 at stake!!! Who can name either the di-aa or DII National Football Champion from this season in June??? (TONS of tumbleweeds blowing through THIS scene )

I'm still scatching my head how they fund a DI program with that... ...of an arena they have? (Not to mention the anchor of a womens program BUT I won't go there ) I bet BSU wishes they could have an arena like the Old Ralph...seems like that would be perfect for them!

These are actually ROADTRIPS we can make! Mankato has had more recent success that either UAA or Michigan Tech - and BTW - Tech couldn't GIVE AWAY more than 1600 at $6 a seat in their last "big" series...what the hell else is there to do on a weekend night in Houghton??? Thats cheaper than a movie!

Just a couple years ago - I would have laughed at this suggestion but Bemidji States' performance last year in the National Tournament (they did give Denver their toughest game ) and really over the last couple years against the WCHA - maybe it's time to consider they'd be a good addition to the WCHA?? --Michigan Tech is a pain of a roadtrip for just about everyone and a consistent cellar dweller. Really they're better suited to the CCHA of the CHA (replacing Bemidji). --Bemidji is a good geographical fit for several WCHA teams! --They are a fully funded program!! (18 schollys - but damned if I know how they do it with 2400 seats! ) I'm just shooting in the dark here but it seems like BSU has gone from to a decent DI hockey contender...they've paid their dues and I think it's time they move up to the big time - then it's SINK or SWIM! (I think they'll swim!*) (* - or at LEAST be better than Tech ) could this ever happen? Would the WCHA consider realignment?

what's worrying me (besides the spotty play) is the attendance - if there were 750 people in the building tonight I'd be suprised... BTW - has anyone seen Buning at a basketball game yet? He's not as visible as he was at the fb games...

the thing I don't understand is "what went wrong?" Jay Potulny is a UND letterwinner...was he pissed his kid (Grant) didn't get a red carpet invite to UND? (I think Deano DID make a historical mistake not looking at him harder) You know the brother is going to follow....so why has this whole thing been a mystery? Grant gets blown off by UND - goes to UM and has a hell of a career...Ryan follows...who could blame him? He's certainly produced in his games at UND - put up or shut up I guess! Irmen obviously has a thing for Ryan and followed him...all you need is LOVE! The thing about GV as opposed to "that OTHER school " as a rival is they'll give you respect if you beat them too - and no one comes into a Sioux-Laker game thinking they're "ALL THAT!" Anyone catch the NC game with GRVS (as they were identified on the ESPN scoreboard! - also known as GVSU!) and NW Missiouri State? WOW! That was a great game - went right down to the last play with :01 on the clock! Congrats to the Lakers for keeping the title in the NW

every Sioux fan knows where Ralph's heart was! IN GRAND FORKS - AT UND!! The place where he went to school - played hockey - and moved ON from there! I didn't see Nightline tonight but if that was the pretext for their "nickname" story - SCREW THEM!
