I always tell people this: I would rather walk barefoot on molten glass than ever cheer for NDSU in any sport. The UND alums who have jumped on the NDSU bandwagon because they "want to be a part of it" make me ill. Unless you have a kid on one of NDSU's teams, it is pure treason. That is a line that should never be crossed.

NIL has a place in today's college athletics landscape, but it needs to be regulated. This Wild West approach won't end well. Transfer rules need to be tightened. We have moved too far in the other direction, but the old rules need to stay gone. Some healthy moderation would make a lot of these problems much easier to deal with.

They'll probably change the seeding process for next year. Just seed all the teams 1 to 12 and go from there.

I think Ryan Day needs to at least make the semifinals to cool his coaching seat off. That program has not been quite the same since Urban Meyer stepped down.

I imagine a similar discussion is happening amongst the Alabama FB fanbase right now. Generally speaking, I would rather have conversations like this vs. hoping we have a winning season or can earn home ice for the NCHC first round.

Having first round games on campus is awesome. It's where college football belongs.

Our injured players need time to heal. We need that to happen if we want to make a run in March and (hopefully) April.
