  1. Trade deadline is tomorrow. Any potential moves the Vikings may make?
  2. Depends on how pi$$ed off they are.
  3. Very good question. Because he is the biggest part of the problem.
  4. If the opinions and perspectives of alumni, fans and financial supporters of the athletic department "don't matter", that is the root of the whole problem. Chaves is probably the biggest problem because he is in charge of the whole department. President Armacost is the only one who can change anything. andrew.armacost@UND.edu And if you think everything is fine as is, I guess you can send a message too.
  5. The players are college kids, but the coaches are paid professionals who should be held to a certain standard. And I, like others here, "choose" to care about the state of our programs.
  6. And according to some people on this forum, we shouldn't say anything either.
  7. I don't take snotty cheap shots at people.
  8. UND keeps putting players in the NHL. Despite being in a poor location. UND is a blue blood in this sport. Period. The only thing that can change that is poor management. Which is the topic of this thread.
  9. Quinnipiac is a small, private school in Connecticut. And yet, they have national success. With a fraction of the resources we have.
  10. So it's "plucky little mid major" time? Sorry, not in this or any other lifetime. Talent is not the problem with this team. How they perform in March is.
  11. Not this location BS again. UND has never had the edge in that category. And yet our rafters are full of green and white banners. Go figure........
  12. Nope, not mad. Just don't think snotty little comments are useful here.
  13. I don't think anyone is happy about any of this. The problem with the people tagged in the post above is when anyone points out a problem or shortcoming with this team, they will come back with patronizing comments such as (paraphrasing here):"You don't understand", "Money doesn't grow on trees so we can't do anything about it", "The athletes are doing well in class and in the community, so wins and losses aren't that important", and so on. Their passive attitude towards 15+ years of FCS mediocrity is what gets under people's skin. Being passive about all this won't get us out of it.
  14. The athletic department apologists are running out of alibis and excuses.
  15. Fair enough.
  16. Here is the email of the only person who can change this: andrew.armacost@und.edu Be respectful and articulate. But also make it clear that the status quo of UND athletics is unacceptable and unsustainable.
  17. And staying positive about a dumpster fire has accomplished what?
  18. I feel more rested after 6 hours of sleep with the machine than 9 hours of sleep without it.
  19. I've used a CPAP since 2017. Makes a world of difference. Coaching issues aside, it's a serious health issue. Reggie White died of sleep apnea complications.
  20. Thanks, I appreciate it. I am doing good. Resting at home, as the doctor instructed.
  21. The season isn't over, but the sooner they figure it out the better.
  22. Opps, you are correct. My damn kidney stone surgery yesterday has sucked some of my brain power. Post has been edited.
  23. And next weekend, we can look forward to a triple header losing trifecta with SDSU coming here for FB and us traveling to UMD for hockey. Meanwhile, the "My Oh My" show is ramping up at NDSU again. If this isn't rock bottom for UND athletics, it's pretty close.
  24. You may not have a problem with what happened last week and this week, but a lot of us do. That is what a discussion forum is for. If you don't like it, nobody's forcing you to read it.
