  1. 4 goals on 36 shots is pretty good in the playoffs. Let's get a quick goal early on in the 3rd and set the tone.
  2. I think the Bemidji State-Notre Dame match-up could be interesting as well.
  3. I like the image!
  4. Dick "Hey Baby" Vitale is on ESPN2 right now. He's the Bob Norton of College Basketball!
  5. Yeah, that's one of the better beer commercials on right now.
  6. Or the Friday night poker game.
  7. End of 2nd Period. 4-3 Sioux.
  8. Har, Har, Har!!!
  9. I agree with you. If ESPN can't afford to put graphics like that up, they must really be hurting from this economy.
  10. It's 4-3 Sioux.
  11. Penalty on North Dakota. Come on boys, don't give it right back.
  12. Vandy from Malone! 4-3 Good Guys!!!
  13. But it's almost more fun to gripe about ESPN.
  14. Listening to Barry Melrose do color is like listening to Terry Bradshaw do color in an NFL broadcast booth on CBS during the 1980's. Listening to fingernails on a blackboard is more tolerable.
  15. Enough of the short-handed opportunities for UNH!
  16. Showing multiple overtimes of lacrosse was a "technical difficulty".
  17. GOAL!!!! DUNCAN!!!! We are tied!!! C'mon ESPN, where was the celebrating in the booth after that goal?
  18. No, 3-2. But it will be 4-2 if this keeps up.
  19. This doesn't look good. And I wish Barry "Major Junior" Melrose would shut the heck up.
  20. Here's a breakaway for UNH to tie it......YES!!! Nice objectivity ESPN....NOT.
  21. It's about freaking time!
  22. They would just break from our game and go to whatever garbage was "regularly scheduled".
  23. You can laugh all you want, I'm not laughing. My laughing happened yesterday when Michigan and Denver went down in flames!
  24. Sorry, my patience ran out last year when the NCAA catered hand and foot to ESPN and Altitude. And what I just bolded would happen, no ifs, ands or buts. And ranting and raving is part of my job on SS.com (no offense meant)!
  25. But ESPN promotes themselves as "The Worldwide Leader in Sports" (I like to change the last word to "Hype"). Outside of the Northeast, no one gives a rat's-behind about Lacrosse. What's next, a multi-million dollar contract to cover every Professional Bowling Association (PBA) Tournament? Or how about Lawnmower Racing? I think it's time for a College Hockey Pay Per View package so that people that want to watch the regionals can order the games through their cable provider and ESPN can put all their novelty, alternative garbage on and not tick anyone off.
