The only way Bubba should leave is because he gets a job offer from an FBS school. The only way any of his assistants should leave is because they get a head coaching job offer (D-II or FCS). If any of them leave because the athletic department won't pay to keep them around, it will signal a lack of commitment to the FB program and to the Division I move itself. I for one hope that the team wins enough in the coming years to make this scenario possible.

I guess what I am saying is that it would be a better match with our school colors than some candidates will be. And that is no small issue, with all the green, white and black colors in the REA, BESC and Alerus Center.

Two words for you: So What? How many people even know (or care) about that? I don't. And we shouldn't. Whichever name is chosen will have some undesirable quality to it. And nothing we choose will compare to what we have lost.

North Stars would be a perfect match with our school colors and is pretty non-offensive. And it's not Sun Dogs!

I am a cynical SOB myself, but I won't go that far. If that was the case, Ray Rice would never have been suspended from the Ravens (a big market club on the east coast with lots of recent success).

Good idea, do it right before the national anthem. People are all seated and ready for the game to start, you shouldn't have any problems with people being in the restrooms or the concession stands.
