  1. There are always ebbs and flows in any game. Cam has come up with the saves we need him to come up with and we got the momentum back towards the end of the 2nd period.
  2. I like having the hundredths of a second on the game clock when we went inside one minute left in the period! They have had the tenths of a second on there for years, but I have never seen the hundredths there until today.
  3. Agreed. We are at our best when we are rolling four lines and enter their defensive zone in waves. That means staying out of the box and burying our chances.
  4. Let's leave that alone as long as we are alive in this year's tournament.
  5. You are not the only one that asks yourself that question. We fans live vicariously through our sports teams. Especially those we have been following since childhood. It is a fountain of youth for a lot of people. You are the rule and not the exception.
  6. To be fair, you can say the same thing about the "Jade Helm" movement that alleged the U.S. Military was going to impose martial law on Texas. That said, I agree with you on this.
  7. I am as progressive as they come, but this nonsense does nothing but make my side of the political aisle look stupid. The Right has the birther movement and the Left has unmitigated garbage like this. SMH!
  8. I say screw the B1G. They wanted this, they got it and now they can live with it. We are in the best conference in the nation (sorry Hockey LEAST) and all the schools in that conference make hockey a priority, not just for program filler.
  9. I know, I just couldn't resist.
  10. I don't think Notre Dame WBB wants to share a conference home with UConn WBB.
  11. Look, you and I don't agree on much on here and I can live with that. What I will not live with is people questioning my loyalty to this team and program. I was simply pointing out that a loss and a tie at the Frozen Faceoff is not encouraging and is reason for some concern. That does not equate to jumping off the bandwagon or "hedging my bets". Capisce?
  12. Well, we could have gotten the St. Paul regional if we had won just one game at Target Center. But that didn't happen, so we won't have all that awesome fan support we always get when we play at the Xcel Energy Center.
  13. I understand the logic and I was telling myself that over the weekend. But I get uneasy when the team has off games in March and I don't blame anyone else for feeling the same way.
  14. You cannot have watched what happened at Target Center and not be just a little bit concerned.
  15. I also have lost some of my enthusiasm for this team and season, but they aren't out of it yet.
  16. I did what I always did; I picked against the home town team. With my spotty record on sports predictions, I hope that helps us raise #8.
  17. York basically copied what Blais built in Grand Forks in the mid to late 1990's and it worked for him too. And I don't recall Boston College having problems finding space for their forwards to work their magic in the playoffs. If we can dictate the tempo of the game from the opening face-off and turn it into a track meet, we shouldn't have any problem with Northeastern or any other team for that matter.
  18. When you come into the tournament #1 in the PWR, you tend to play with less urgency. I expect that to change next week as every game is a must win from here on out. Looking forward to seeing where we get sent.
  19. You are one negative nellie this week! Come on, it's playoff time.
  20. You must be in a good mood today. That was your second funny comment on this forum in 24 hours.
  21. #haughty was for our Duluth friend who likes to troll this message board. I know it will be a tough tournament to win.
