I remember when players in our program earned ice time based on performance and what they brought to the table. Not because they are seniors and have "put in their time". Man, those were the days.

I am just glad the change was made. However, it could have been made less painfully if Chaves hadn't given that hair-brained extension to Bubba last March.

Romfo better not have the starting job automatically again in 2025. If he can't make the throws an FCS QB needs to make to keep defenses honest, then I hope he doesn't still get the job strictly because of "completion percentage during practice".
