  1. Same here. An apple sounds so benign.
  2. Thank you, I appreciate it.
  3. It's too big to pass. I am having it surgically removed next Friday (November 1st). I cannot wait. As for a Sioux sweep, I will gladly settle for a split vs. a Top 5 team at home.
  4. I will be sidelined with my kidney stone issue. I simply do not want to risk my condition with too much physical exertion. I will be watching from home.
  5. Anyone know anything about this guy?
  6. That is also the same snotty little punk who abandoned the team the day before classes started when he could have signed in March or April. Screw you WeatherBYE.
  7. This is the company Dom Izzo and the Imperial Cass County media want NDSU to keep?
  8. There are so many great players who have played at UND that it is almost impossible to come up with an objective Top 5. A good problem to have.
  9. I love your optimism......I just don't share it. A home split against a Top 5 team is the best we can hope for right now and should be beneficial in the PWR. Hopefully Mankato has an awesome season and our road split becomes an asset.
  10. The first step in solving any problem is recognizing that there is one. That's what's most concerning about the comments above.
  11. I was in the hospital from Friday night through Sunday afternoon. On Saturday, I had a procedure done to put a stent in my left ureteral tube, which is the tube that connects my left kidney to my bladder (my kidney stone is wedged in there). On November 1st, I am having the infernal thing removed. Until this is over, I cannot lift heavy objects (no lifting more than 10-15 pounds) or engage in strenuous physical activity. My pain right now is no more than some mild discomfort and I have pain meds to take as needed. Overall, I am very fortunate that I had the pain I did or I wouldn't even know the stone was there.
  12. Mankato may end up being a much better team than predicted. And I am not going to overreact to a game in October (it is a long season). That being said, this is the type of inconsistency that dooms you in the playoffs. They have plenty of time to fix this. But the sooner the better.
  13. This describes most of our defensive problems this year (and the last several years).
  14. I think the Panthers and Raiders will have the top two picks in the 2025 draft. Just don't know what order yet.
  15. It's not like they lost to the Panthers you know.
  16. I am missing the game thanks to a very large kidney stone. Here's to victory and a 5-2 record.
  17. Either Mankato is the greatest team ever assembled or we are underachieving again.
  18. True. It is one of my favorite road trips however.
  19. Yeah, zero. Welcome to the world of most college athletic programs. This isn't MLS.
  20. Not all programs generate revenue. If you are lucky, you'll have more than one program make a profit. Simple Answer.
  21. The idea that every single program must be self-sustaining is nonsense. That is not how college athletics is funded.......anywhere.
  22. The new facilities are a HUGE deal. No question about it. The change in Strength and Conditioning is a HUGE deal. No question about that either. But if these improvements (which Bubba has not had access to for most of his tenure) still result in 6-5 and 7-4 seasons, then the coaches will have run out of excuses.
  23. You cannot replicate game conditions in practice. So this 100% focus on what happens in practice is concerning. Our backups (at all positions) need reps during actual games so they can be evaluated for what they do in actual games.
  24. Because of the PWR implications........ "Anything less than a sweep is unacceptable."* *Copyright @Goon 2024. ALL Rights Reserved.
  25. Wow, that is insane.
