Colorado College is not the train wreck they were a couple of years ago. They definitely are going to make some noise in the NCHC the next couple of years. That said, we have to win conference home games because we are not going to sweep too many road weekends in this league. But if they are fighting illness and/or injuries, that would explain what happened. I think they come back after the holiday break strong.

I suspected this as well. The fact they looked sluggish and slow suggests the gas tank was not even close to full this weekend. Give them a few weeks of family time and rest and I think they'll be back to their old selves again.

I agree with you. The offense figures to only get better. The problem with this team is the defense, which I never thought would happen with our program.

Because it's all about keeping more of the gate.

This is what irritates me. A team that struggled vs. ranked teams comes into Grand Forks and sweeps UND on the road. Is this UND regressing to the mean that was established last year? I seriously hope not. I really hope it was sickness and/or fatigue and not a return to the dumpster fire that was 2022-2023.
