  1. Really? What is there to be excited about this season? Not much.
  2. Wow, REA hasn't been this dead and uninspired in a long time.
  3. More turnovers in the D zone.
  4. I would trade Miami for St. Thomas in a heartbeat.
  5. This must be addressed in the off-season. Can't win titles when you are short-handed half the time.
  6. This is where I am at as well.
  7. Um no. And I don't think that guy has the nerve to actually do it.
  8. I for one don't miss him. He is a bit of an attitude problem.
  9. If next season is like this season has been, there will be open calls for a change.
  10. What was Kacie up for?
  11. Is that a big loss for us? Were we on his radar? Was he on ours?
  12. That would be great, but shocking.
  13. Some of those March and April storms can have a lot of moisture in them. So that will have to be watched the next 1 to 1 1/2 months.
  14. Or throwing darts at a board.
  15. Seriously though, all this does is add more moisture to the Red River Basin. All this will melt in the next month or so. That could exacerbate flooding depending on how fast it melts.
  16. Highway 200 is where the dry air snow shield is located. The storm in December was a rare exception to the rule.
  17. Meanwhile, Grand Forks continues to live in the dust belt of North Dakota. You get all the fun in "Imperial Cass County".
  18. Aren't you a Duluth fan now?
  19. Agree 100%. The defense cannot be much worse than it was in 2022.
  20. Wasn't there something going on with a player? I vaguely remember hearing about it.
  21. What these organizations are willing to give on NIL is not my decision to make. I know UND cannot be involved in it. That being said, I think local businesses and organizations will be receptive to student-athletes promoting their services and/or products. We have great student-athletes who would make excellent spokespersons for our local boosters. Bottom Line: We either get on board with NIL or get left behind. Period. There is no "middle ground" here.
  22. You are correct. I was just throwing out the Engelstad Foundation as one example. Altru, Hugo's, Rydell's....all Grand Forks-based institutions that have the resources to fund an NIL initiative.
  23. That's okay. These rules are so complicated and convoluted, the average person cannot hope to understand them. That is why we need to simplify them.
