Sorry yeah Omaha is a bottom feeder. Of a program, of the conference, this year and historically. If they hadn't beat a " 1 seed " 3 times in the last month, would they even be close to the tourney? No. Then you'll say " they beat a 1 seed three times" They didn't, they beat a lazy mathematical pairwise anomaly 1 seed. They shouldn't even be here. A top team beats them down to the gutter where they AND this UND team right now seem to belong. They can gladly prove me wrong but me thinks the absolute piss missle of a drubbing they both take next weekend will absolutely prove me right. I hope not, I really do but... as the saying goes hope in one hand, tourney game at the X in the other.......

I would counter that winners win and winning tends to be contagious. Planned mediocrity for purposes of rest seems quite..... mid. as the kids say.

By rule of hockey that has to be a no goal. But that's rediculous cause it is absolutely a goal. Refs in a no win situation right now. He screwed up.

Focus, urgency, confidence, a seething hatred of losing... all seem to be missing.

And here I thought the record and lack of success would take care of that.

Someone stated above that this may actually be a good thing in that we don't know the details of the contract yet.. It may provide the stability needed for coaches, potential recruits and current players as well as a negotiated buyout option. Just trying to see the potential positive..... cause if this is truly who we want coaching long term or think he can lead the program to competativeness... Best to just initiate "Operation Tater" (That's just folding the program and renting the HPC and Alerus to RDO for potato storage)
