If so I've never seen that, he always speaks highly of UND and gives respect and reverence for his time there in interviews. I wonder if the fact that Florida just fired their interm coach plays into the decision. The AHL coach was just put in place in November when Florida moved Holechek up to the panthers bench and now have relieved him. I would think a Grimaldi would want to see a little of the path and type of direction the club will take. If it was me I'd want to maybe hold on to all of my options... Including the potential of the FA option......to ensure I was able to be with a organization that gave me the best fit to get to the nhl ....if that was my goal But that's just me StayaSioux

Thats good for him.... I hope he figures things out at the ushl level. After initially being wowed by his shot in bismarck I have to say his play was dramatically short of expectations. Unless he was working through some type of injury to his hips id say he was downright lazy for the bobcats... floated on blue line waiting for the play to spring him but put very little effort into the action.....defensively a near non factor when he was on the ice. Hope he finds a drive in Fargo. Needs to watch a lot of what Parise puts into his ice times.
