Happy Monday to all UND football fans! UND (6-2) defeated Indiana State (2-6) handily - as they should - on Saturday, October 25, by a score of 46-17. Now it is on to South Dakota (5-4)! USD lost most recently at home to Illinois State by a score of 21-13 last Saturday (10/25/25). Historically, it has been a challenge for UND to beat USD in Vermillion at the DakotaDome. This will be a challenge but a welcome one at that. “Everything we want is on the other side of hard. November football games are the ones [we’ll] remember.” Who would want it any other way? Everyone travel down to Vermillion if you can- not that terribly far of a trip. There will certainly be some Kelly Green in the stands down there. Kickoff is 1 pm on Saturday, November 1, 2025. Completely agree, hence earlier posts I’ve made about this (and some of the older generation at the game) - we all have to do our part to enhance the atmosphere and energy in the Alerus Center. Football is a game of energy and passion, and sitting down all game is the exact opposite.

Nearly all polls now have UND football in the top 10, some in the top 5. Awesome victory last weekend on the road at Southern Illinois, but now onward to Indiana State (2-5). Indiana State is 0-3 in the MVFC thus far but was only down 10-7 at halftime versus NDSU last weekend. UND has to prepare and be ready to go. Game is at 3 pm on 10/25/25 at the Alerus Center - get out there, tailgate, and support this top 10 team and program! Get loud when UND is on defense on ALL DOWNS! Quiet when offense is at work. We got this. There are discounts on group tickets. Everyone get out there and FILL THE CORNERS LETS GO HAWKS!!

Agree. Getting to be quite pathetic there is no overall improvement. Ultimately it comes back to just 1-2 folks who are in charge of this and they apparently don’t care. Either they randomly start caring (unlikely) or someone else gets put in charge of this; best solution would be opening up an entirely new position for this (Alerus Center Football Experience Director or something of this sort…).

Another HUGE game/test for the 2025 University of North Dakota (UND) football team on Saturday, October 18, 2025! UND (4-2) - currently ranked #9/#11 in the country -will go on the road to play #12 Southern Illinois (SIU), which is also 4-2 on the season. This top 15 matchup will kickoff at 2 pm, and will be viewable on ESPN+, or you can listen via radio on the Fighting Hawks Radio Network. Great time for that 5th victory of the season, 3rd conference victory, and 2nd road victory! LETS GO HAWKS!

Good clarification. There are workarounds on both sides, as it seems like when something doesn’t go well, one side is just seen pointing fingers at the other. Ultimately, both need to do better, but there’s no question UND continues to be put in a position of needing to step up and rise to the occasion (and/or raise expectations).
