Honestly there’s someone already on offensive staff that you could say is better qualified to run the offense than Fruechte …. he didn’t play in the Big 10 or NFL … but he won FCS national championships as an offensive assistant college coach … something Fruechte can’t claim

Straw man argument … no one ever claimed defensive game planning isn’t happening, but that also doesn’t take away from the fact that more momentum / mojo is needed and QB play is currently one step slower than it needs to be / was. It’ll improve somewhat after the final of this game, but O coaching staff also need to give QB better answers
