help me out. Is the umtc policy now not in effect due to the NCAA being OK with the name for the next three years?

I think most of those are Indian names. Doesn't seem like we can use them.

If we agree to this, it strikes me as pointless. How is the NCAA compromising? Where are the $damages$ for being referred to as a "hostile & abusive" university. I don't like this one bit. The tribes seem too unreliable. We might as well switch the name to Fighting Dakotans and see if the NCAA classifies that as "hostile & abusive."

I got to watch the game this morning. I was surprised to read that Hak thought we played well. I thought we were out hit and out hustled. Passes weren't sharp either, but I guess there is a good excuse for that. It seemed like Jean-Philip played well, but I also thought he looked out of position at times. Maybe it's just me, but he seemed to be too deep in the crease and not really challenging anyone. I don't want to end up seeing BC again. They were good and matched up well against us.

You had respect for them? Their fans are almost worse than umtc fans.

It wasn't much. He stepped in when a second Atlanta player was jumping a Buffalo player. I don't think either guy landed a punch and Stafford got his jersey pulled over his head. He was swinging with his head down. Game was on HDNet.

Football has been brutal, but the hockey game against Manitoba had no glitches.

Actually not much of a rotation, the UND band only went once when I was there, but I can't remember if that was '99 or '00. It wasn't a good experience as the NDSU fans booed throughout the entire performance and then the UND band was stuck at the very top corner of an endzone. IIRC Lots of the UND band members didn't really get much for food either as each section for NDSU was responsible for feeding instead of just have a big band mixer. NDSU did come the following year. The year after that the UND band voted no to going back to Fargo. Instead we traveled to Omaha (I believe they have since gone again). The band has also gone to Mankato and this year is going to Duluth. The UND band did go to Fargo on one other occasion and that was when Bush visited. I still think it was odd that we were invited, but whatever. Help me out here, but isn't every music major at NDSU required to be in the marching band?
