When did NDSU say they couldn't afford COA?
-
I believe its called marketing. I don't believe I know of ANY school that has raised its prices so drastically per game. NDSU takes a very measured approach. Over the last 10 years they have raised ticket prices, TM dues or both every year. Now they are requiring TM dues for end zone seating. Somewhere along the line they will increase prices for the first 10-15 rows as they are considered prime seating.

Big Sky Conference Commissioner Doug Fullerton Conversation

LOL LOL -
I guess you fail to understand how the tickets are priced. BTW how much are your season tickets? Seems yours are much cheaper. to help with the heating bills in GF? LOL
-
Actually you have to take the difference between what most tix are priced at and what the face is for UND. So now you have 25.00 x 2000 if there are even that many single game tix available. So people really need to just stop with the money NDSU takes in from this game.

That was great!!! Thanks for sharing.

NCAA To Sanction UND if School Does Not Adopt New Nickname
bison73 replied to Benny Baker's topic in UND Nickname
IMO No it doesn't. But I think if you were named the Sundogs the Fighting Sioux crowd would never let that fly and the angst would last much longer than some of the other choices. -

I understand that. But it all rides on what the NCAA will or wont do depending on which nickname is picked. I don't know if they would go for an explanation that you picked North Dakota because nobody liked anything else. I don't know if they would levy sanctions again because you didn't adopt a nickname per say. Ive always questioned how they can make you have a nickname. The name of your school should be enough. -
NCAA To Sanction UND if School Does Not Adopt New Nickname

I just don't understand why people use this example. It makes no sense and Nobody in their right mind would ever consider this saying that. If North Dakota was chosen I don't see an issue with it. You will be known as North Dakota, UND or University of North Dakota. -
You know Ive heard that a few times but cant find any articles confirming that statement.

Last I read the BSA was going to be 5700 and Scheels was 5000?
-
Considering how uninformed he was it my guess he just threw some crap up against a wall hoping to get paid.
-
360.00 isn't all that much money for season tickets IMO.
-
What does Bucky have to do with this? He retired a few years back. You think a petition is all it takes? LOL
-
This is the dumpster fire thread isnt it? All sorts of stuff have been talking points. The NDSU-UND game is a different thread. Just saying.
-
Its only a problem if you want it to be.
-
If the fed or the ncaa think there is an issue then it will be corrected. Until that time its much ado about nothing.
-
Considering we are within NCAA compliance Its only important and a big deal if you want to make it a big deal.
-
You mean 2012. But believe it or not SHSU doesn't travel that well for being in TX.

Vote on your final 5 nickname choices (just ND is out)

Contrary to goals, ER visits rise under Obamacare Three-quarters of emergency physicians say they've seen ER patient visits surge since Obamacare took effect — just the opposite of what many Americans expected would happen. A poll released today by the American College of Emergency Physicians shows that 28% of 2,099 doctors surveyed nationally saw large increases in volume, while 47% saw slight increases. By contrast, fewer than half of doctors reported any increases last year in the early days of the Affordable Care Act. http://www.usatoday.com/story/news/n...-act/26625571/Interesting. Heres another article that looks at it different. But the same conclusion. Oscama care sucks. http://www.cnbc.com/id/102645955 http://www.newsmax.com/MichaelReagan.../26/id/640791/ "President Obama led by example when he promised us that if we liked our doctor, we could keep him. And now the entire Obamacare regime is dedicated to being, as Mark Twain put it, “economical with the truth.” Of particular note is what is called Covered California from my home state. Sharyl Attkisson, of the Daily Signal, has written a two–part series that shows the lies are baked in at Obamacare California."
