60.00. FYI---season tickets didn't reflect that increase as tickets only went up like 5-10 bucks. All they did was re-monetize the individual games games. The increase will only be felt by those who buy single game tickets and the allotment to UND.

Wow you sure like to use extremes. But take this in to consideration. NDSU has done very well against FBS competition even though we are at a scholarship disadvantage. If that scenario stays the same then yes NDSU would have a difficult time playing (for example only) Big Ten teams every week. Depth would be a huge issue. BUT give NDSU the same amount of full rides that the big schools have. You dont think NDSU wouldnt be competitive?

You have to be invited to a conference thats FBS. They no longer allow you to be an independent and then look for a conference. Plus there are also a host of other considerations one has to make before such a move can be undertaken. But the NCAA rules is a biggie.

UND no longer has a Blue Key organization anymore I am told. Its my understanding that Blue Key and UND have had some talks about the future of the trophy considering it will never be played for again. But didnt I read an article where Faison said the Nickle was out of the picture and retired?

I dont look for much of an offensive drop off from last year in the running game dept. Morlock, Bonnet, Frazier all return plus a new kid is supposed to very good but I dont follow the recruiting game. Plus we have a few others that got carries last year. I also think out passing game will be better.

You need to know how to defend it and take the time to teach it. Its called assignment football. Your D has to be very very disciplined. If its an offense you only see once a year you arent going to be very good at defending for it unless you have ample time to prepare. Plus looking at some of the teams they played last year Im not impressed.

Iowa played GT about 5 years ago in the Orange Bowl and killed GT who I think was a National leader in offense. Its not hard to defend. Its called assignment football. I cant believe the little pup is bragging up the academies. They havent been notably successful in years-decades.
