  1. can't throw the deep ball........that wes td was 3 seconds too late and about 10 yards underthrown.......he should have dropped into wes's hands on either A in Dakota in the end zone. the bo deep one was about 5-8 yards underthrown....he had to slow down and "stop short" to avoid a push off and jump straight up to high point....which he did but that should've been a relatively easy td throw...but that just bo being bo would love to see bo, wes, and kai with jerry next saturday with our nice mix of rb's and the o-line is doing well... need chunk plays to play with the big boys.
  2. so close.....there was some rubber pellets kicking up...but so close......but also....play on field was td and imo there wasn't any "clear evidence" to overturn it?
  3. time for wes to take over for nate d...2 games zero catches. passing game needs some life....kai or hakim instead of jack? and of course......free jerry. aint gonna win a lot of games against good teams playing inside a ten yard box.
  4. unsportsman on "msu" coach.........just put the flag away dude and let it play out on the field......from the 25 doable.....around midfield....highly unlikely
  5. nice sweep of green bay

  10. speaking of the irish..............could we have a "winterland" chant that they like over there...like the one they use for conner mcgregor "bizons..........are you listening, bizons......... keep your combines glistening, the fighting sioux are coming for you, they'll do you in 4, walking in a sioux wonderland."

  14. question.....let's say that county snow plow driver is 50 years old and make 70k......would he starve or become homeless if his pay went DOWN to 60k?...does he deserve a job for life with pay increases every year for life. would a 21 year college dropout be able and willing to be a county snow plow driver for 45k?
  15. exactly...kuddos to whatever intern thought of that at va tech and told his stodgy old boss and he ran with it..... i remember going to the soft opening of the ralph on that friday eve iirc and when they did the light show with sandstorm (by darude?) i was blown away....loud music, lasers (frick'n lasers beams), flashing strobe lights....crazy the alerus has everything ....just not someone with vision to do something outside the box.........like VA tech
  16. agreed no imagery or monikers...just some irish music with or without bagpipes and maybe an irish flag or two.
  17. missouri state says hi (twice) from a few years ago.
  18. did playing western oregon do anything for sdac to get ready for this matchup...huuuuge game for the bunnies
  19. agreed...it's almost like they have never seen a "clean" game before and wouldn't be able to spot a game where all 3 facets of the game are on point.
  20. So years ago we had to drop our Indian nickname because if was offensive to White Liberals Indians I guess........so we've moved to the Fighting Hawks. Even though our new nickname has no ethnic ties I think honoring the Irish roots of our area with some sort of Irish music for our walkup would be fantastic....Not saying it has to be House of Pain or the Dropkick Murphy's....although i wouldn't be against it.....but if we do let's do it a little different. I was biking thru Lincoln Park a few years ago by the south pedestrian bridge and i came across a single man playing the bagpipe near dusk...all by himself...coolest thing ever. So, if we do something "Irish" could be get a few bagpipers to lead the guys onto the field in kilts and irish regalia? Some could be on the field where they run out...a few on the catwalks....a few around the concourse....the starting of the bagpipes would let the fans know that the guys are about to run onto the field...maybe mix a few Irish flags in with our 701 flags? The playing of the Bagpipe was banned in Scotland after the uprising of 1745. They were classified as an instrument of war by the loyalist government. They were kept alive in secret. Anyone caught carrying pipes were punished, the same as any man that bore arms for Bonnie Prince Charlie. Just a thought....
  21. hope so.
