Have to post this regarding the earlier academic conversation. The U of MN is a very interesting distribution of academic achievement. It has absolute top tier programs in CSE and CSOM- chemical engineering, certain business subsets among others. At the same time, it is also a public school in a very liberal state that is focused on providing access to higher ed for students otherwise unlikely to go to college.

So, with Tambellini leaving early, I think we just opened a pathway to get ice time for a freshman Gersich next year if he can get his schooling done. The wildcard for next year will be if Grimaldi stays. I don't think he's proven he can dominate at this level, so the issue is going to be whether or not Fl is concerned with his development. I am optimistic about next year's team...

Thought the 2nd and 3rd lines had their best games of the year. I really like the MOP line and St Clair, CHyzyk and Murphy,,, Before we pat ourselves on our back and talk draft picks, Slavin and the Swede are all world players...they were at the WJC and you can tell why. Those 2 are real talent.
