CC’s power play has been so bad this season that even though they might be making one too many passes, I do like how they appear to have gone “back to basics” by working the puck around and up to the points for shots. Now, if we could only take away Chrona’s eyes, some of those point shots might go in.

CC has been buzzing this period but yah, DU looked like they were sleep walking the first 17 minutes.

Omaha should have a pretty high level of desperation in their game as they’re sitting kinda low in the upper echelon of the rankings. A win or two against us would serve them well to solidify a tournament spot. That said, there’s still a lot on the line for UND as well, like a potential #1 seed. Not to mention, pride, which UND teams always have a lot of.

Perhaps but I’ve watched almost as many CC games as I have UND games and you can really tell the difference in talent between the top half teams in the conference and CC.

Yah and they lost two to CC and they’re one of the worst teams in the country.

So what if Duluth loses one or both games to St. Cloud? Would that put them in the position of having to win the frozen Faceoff to get in?

Yah, we got them through my buddy’s dad who’s retired Army but I’m sure if you jump on it early enough you can get them.

A couple of years ago, I got to go to the AF/Army football game Saturday afternoon and the AF/Army hockey game that night. While it didn’t work out too well for the Cadets that weekend, it was still a really fun weekend.

I go to a handful of AF home games each season so they have a soft spot in my heart. Definitely cool seeing what they’ve accomplished over the years given some of the recruiting hurdles they face year in and year out.

So what’s the deal about an Omaha following Scheel and getting a misconduct? I missed some of the game.

Yah that’s a head scratcher and surprising the league didn’t have a big time issue with that.

As a CC fan, I can agree with the St. Cloud announcers that some of these penalties being called on the Huskies are getting a little ticky tack. Not that our PP is much of a threat though.
