  1. I just saw a tweet by someone affiliated with Duluth. The tweet was bitching about UND fans bitching about why Perunovich doesnt deserve the Hobey. This person can’t even enjoy their big accomplishment without whining about what some UND fans may or may not be saying. Good grief.
  2. I listened to the AD, Leslie Irvine’s interview on the local sports talk radio this afternoon and nothing too meaningful was said. I heard the phrase, “championship culture” sprinkled in her comments roughly a dozen times and all I could think about was, “1957.” This was the last year CC won a national championship. Apathy among fans has started to replace anger and disappointment and that cannot be good for the long term success of the program. If nothing else, Haviland should have already replaced his assistant coaches, particularly RJ Enga who’s been there since before Haviland ever arrived six years ago. https://gazette.com/sports/colorado-college-athletic-director-irvine-haviland-will-be-our-coach/article_8bfc9700-6e12-11ea-98a1-5b88acb7c538.html?utm_medium=social&utm_source=facebook&utm_campaign=user-share&fbclid=IwAR3xON0D9sQDFZ25pyfspgv_KvChVTv06APqFFfkRdC6e3VPD_QGNezb7ws
  3. Does this mean that the person/people who named the Lyme disease after where it originated-in Lyme, Connecticut-hate people from Lyme?
  4. It is if you put crackers in it!
  5. Agreed. As much as I think UND would’ve made a deep run this year, there’s no guarantee they would’ve won so I’d rather not be awarded the championship with an asterisk and be the center of mockery and ridicule by others for years to come. Just leave this year be vacant as far as I’m concerned.
  6. Not to minimize our disappointment in not being able to participate in the national tournament but there are other programs and fan bases equally as disappointed as well. I know of a program about 60 miles north of Colorado Springs where fans are very disappointed given the regional they would’ve been placed in and the potential they had for another FF run.
  7. Never let a disaster go to waste!
  8. The bigger question now is, when will they cancel work-with pay???
  9. Let the global propaganda begin! China leadership now accusing the U.S. of purposely planting the virus as some sort of biological military weapon.
  10. “I’m with the government and I’m here to help.”
  11. Those shelves were bare!
  12. I made sure to stock up on essentials like Pop Tarts, Cheetos, and Ben & Jerry’s.
  13. This has gotta help CC not having 11,000 UND fans this weekend. Still think UND is the much better team though.
  14. Probably from eating all that raw fish before he figured out how to make fire.
  15. I think I will be safe and stay home this weekend and watch hockey and basketball. I will however risk life and limb and play hockey Sunday.
  16. Be careful, K? ❤️
  17. I work for a financial services firm with upwards of 25,000 employees, 5,000 of them on my campus here in Denver. They won’t let us attend the NCAA hockey or basketball tournament but I bet sure as sh*t I have to go to work each and every day.
  18. Only one UND player made the all-NCHC first team. I don’t agree with that but I guess it supports the notion of how deep our team is. We don’t rely on just one or two guys to be successful.
  19. You get what you pay for.
  20. Really anyway, was Gabinet the best candidate Omaha had to choose from???
  21. I know this isn’t college hockey related but former DU coach George Gwozdecky is coaching high school hockey in Colorado at Valor Christian. Last night, Valor beat Fort Collins, 1-0 in five overtimes in the Colorado state high school championship game. The real story is that the Ft. Collins goalie made 84 saves. https://chsaanow.com/2020-03-10/goal-in-fifth-ot-lifts-valor-christian-over-fort-collins-for-first-state-hockey-title/
  22. I don’t think the entire squad from Northeastern was prepared to face the buzz saw that was UND that game. UND probably could’ve put up double digits that day if they really wanted to.
  23. He’s been in and out of the lineup but not due to injuries. However, he too got hurt last Friday night.
