DU fans (all fifteen of them) make the same exact comments about GF as folks from the TC. Funny though how many people here in Denver drive home in their steel coffins on that long cummute, enter their front doors, close the blinds and don't come out until the following morning when they begin their commute back to work.

That second period was painful to watch. Back to back odd man rushes, incl a four on one. Thank God Chyzyk hustled back and broke it up. Six shots on net and too many penalties.

In Thompson's defense if we are going to cherry pick only missed plays, I gotta mention a particularly great play by him....about seven and a half minutes left in the third period and he joins the rush, we get a scoring opportunity but the play immediately turns back the other way. Thompson is behind the DU net, busts his but the other direction, and catches up with the DU puck handler all the way down in our zone and breaks up what might have been a great scoring opportunity for them.

I thought Cam did as well as to be expected. Those fourth and fifth goals, he was left out to dry. Sat at other end of ice, how in the world did we turn the puck over and give up that shorty?

Because CBS Sports is showing a double header. WMU at Omaha is game one.

No, the battle on Blake game will be televised. I just saw a commercial for it.

My buddy who's a Northeastern fan jokingly refers to the Beanpot third place game as, "The Northeastern Invitational."

I think because this is a non conference game, they can do 20 min OT.
