  1. I think these lines work well. Panzarella brought hustle and physical play on a level above Mitch. But can somebody have a couple of words with Luke?? And LaDue? What is it with Luke taking a stupid penalty every game? And LaDue - most of the time plays great but nearly cost the team the season - freshman mistakes I guess.
  2. Cornell lost - should help our Pairwise
  3. Providence and Cornell are the closest in the Pairwise.
  4. When was the last time the Sioux won a game when the were behind by 2?
  5. I sat in the first row behind the Duluth bench for one period when they won the FF in St. Paul. Crappy seats - I was looking up at the scoreboard so I could see what was going on instead of watching the ice since I couldn't see through the coaches. But it was interesting to see and hear what was going on in the bench area.
  6. What's wrong with 2 sweeps to end the regular season?
  7. Nothing to lose - it isn't like they are in any danger of winning this game
  8. Pull Saunders - now!
  9. Absolutely - Saunders has played well but not tonite
  10. They are playing about .500 in their last 10 games.
  11. With the talent that Miami has, I didn't think they could look as bad as they have so far against WMU.
  12. tOSU and MSU are on BTN Network right now.
  13. ?? Northeastern has never won the NC, but has won a few Beanpots. Harvard won the NC in 1989.
  14. Wisc/Mich ends in a tie.
  15. Sure - but the MSU player didn't sell it like a certain DU player recently. The refs will call it a 5 every time if the player is "injured".
  16. I think we will be lucky if he stays next year. Hopefully he will - he has really developed well this year.
  17. I guess we will need to agree to disagree. I know what the rule is about directing the puck, but it looked like a kicking motion to me. Maybe there is a very fine line between directing and kicking. Certainly he moved his skate toward the net. The shoot-out goal was definitely a good goal, but how can you tell when the goalie knocked the net off the post? Bad call.
  18. Looked like some serious home ice reffing in the goofer game. Kicked in goal - no problem - goal! And there is a new rule - your goalie can knock the net off the posts and the other team can't score! MSU got screwed!
