I am never excited to see the Sioux ranked #1 (except for about mid-April). Brings back memories of 2004 - ranked on top nearly all year and didn't get it done. Besides, big target for opponents to aim for. Didn't Tech win twice this weekend? They can have it back.

Ten of their next twelve games are at home so i can see a few more wins coming. Don't know who they play though.

He looked terrible tonite. Stood around with the puck repeatedly, backed out of the zone when with a little effort he could have held the puck in the zone and just looked like he didn't want to be on the ice. Sit him for a game and get his attention. Much better team tonite. Sioux passing was terrible and lack of hustle was scary.

Recruiting-wise, no one has mentioned the flip side of those nice 80 degree days - that would be the 115 degree days. That could be a big turn-off for a lot of prospects. And the distance from home (other than AZ and CA) might be a disadvantage also.

I'm not sure on his numbers, but I think he (Simonson) has done very well on face-offs. And that would be Trevor Olson.

I really appreciate Buccigross for his passion for college hockey, but he is not a good play-by-play guy. Bring back Gary Thorne.
