Standard lunacy in Seattle. The new mayor shares in that lunacy - she said there is no reason why Seattle can't have two arenas. Except for the city council voting against allowing the closure of one block required to build the new arena. And the Port of Seattle trying to block it. And the backers only wanting basketball.

The Seattle city council missed this part with the arena choice.

Two points: 1) the effort tonight was beyond awful. 2) When your top line is 22-19-14, you are not going to get very far this season.

A six month investigation? Guy should be fired - oh, wait he's a professor. Our university system is messed up.

I have to agree on the comments about Gersich. He just isn't playing at the level we expected to see. More of a liability this season. That backhander tonight? yikes.

Horrible decision by the city council. With very little parking and no transit other than bus, this will be terrible for fans. Great win. Nice to see the boys play like they wanted to beat the other team - physically and on the scoreboard. The Mismash goal was really a thing of beauty. Smith's goal was just awesome - like "get out of the way, I'm going to score!" Jones is the real deal - I feel real bad for OSU - not!

It's a good reason not to pick a player until you know he will play!

If you don't pick a player that scores on Friday you are out.

WTH? I click on to watch Brad Berry's press conference and there is an ad by some scumbag lawyer that goes on for 5 minutes and I can't stop it. I tried watching the other press conferences and the same thing happens. WTH????

It was quite fun to watch - especially the looks on the faces of the goof fans.

He certainly did. And in spite of giving up 4 goals, I thought Thome played another good game. The team has allowed 4 goals twice this season and won them both. Hmm.....
